That has a really cool look to it.

The girdle of frost giant strength has no image, and the image for the girdle of fire giant strength is the picture of the +3 Bracers.

Jeff,
Something that wasn't abundantly clear to me; if I'm trading in for say Improved Ring of Evasion and I intend on making the trade items in the same shipment (toward the ring). Do I fill out tooth sections or just one? IE Just the ring, or both the Ron and the trade items I'm makin for it as well?
Thanks!

transmuted token recipe layout: i really liked the layout on the other transmuted token page, where each item was on a different line rather than just seperated by a comma. could this form be formatted like that as well? that makes it much easier to go down the list and make sure you have everything, and also allowed a good seperation between the 'all of these' and 'one of these' sections of the lists.
this is not a signature.

Sorry for the confusion. If I understand your question, you want to make an Improved Ring of Evasion, but you don't have all the required tokens to do that now. You want to send in a bunch of tokens to make those Ingredient tokens, and then apply those tokens to make the Improved Ring of Evasion.

Unfortunately, the process has been designed to eliminate errors and confusion which leads to collectors upset with us because we don't agree with the several staged process the collector has in his head. Instead, we are making the Exchange program a step-by-step process where you must gather the exact recipe tokens before sending in for that new token. So, in your case, you will have to send in for all the Trade and Reserve tokens you need for the Improved Ring of Evasion, and then make a second shipment with those exact recipe tokens.

I realize this situation is not a perfect one, but I feel strongly that this is the best way to go moving forward. I want to avoid, if possible, situations where collectors and TD come into conflict because of complicated token exchanges. Let's keep them simple and easy to understand.

I realize it costs more in shipping this way (for both of us), but I think an orderly exchange program is the best way to go.

We do plan on having a Token Exchange Party in Indianapolis on a Saturday in June for those who would rather do exchanges in person. And we will have some kind of exchange available at Gen Con Indy, too. The Gen Con Indy details will be announced after we learn all our mistakes at the Token Exchange Party in June.

Jeff thanks for the reply! Sounds good!

Well...the web dudes told me that the slow-down issues have been mitigated. So...please give it a shot and let me know your thoughts on the whole process.

I also am keen to get feedback on the whole new Tokens section and new articles.

Thanks!

Good question! I don't really know quite yet. There were some performance issues that have taken a long time to sort out -- but the webdudes are making progress.

I am taking this time while it the TEP is offline to reflect on any final changes to be made to the Transmuted Token recipes -- as these will be locked in until after Gen Con. So...whatever comes out (probably later this week) will be the final version until AT LEAST after Gen Con Indy. We may tweak if further after Gen Con Indy...but I have no plans to do so.

We are also making some improvements to the TEP itself, as a few orders that did go through were great fountains of feedback.

So...please hang tight a little longer, and it should be up and running by the end of the week (knock on ABS).

Thanks.

Please don't make too many changes for the tokens. I just managed to scratch together enough stuff to make the girdle of frost giant Strength.

Boy, I wish I'd read this before assembling my packages of tokens for trade-in. I've got all the transmuted token sets of ingredients ready to go, but a lot of them are in "raw" form (i.e. 25 rare weapons instead of an Aragonite). I hadn't realized it had to be a two-stage process.

Hopefully I can attend the June event in Indy. My only concern for that is the time involved. If others are bringing several boxes of tokens as I plan on doing, I wonder if we might end up waiting in line for hours while everyone's trades are counted and verified. I wonder if it might be possible to just drop them off and pay the $5 for the transmuted tokens to be shipped to us - but I guess that won't be possible if we haven't already converted all of our raw tokens into trade item tokens.

Jeff - I do have a question. You said we had to send in for trade and reserve tokens in order to trade in for combo tokens. Does that mean, for instance, for the Girdle of Frost Giant Strength, we can't send in 2,000 GP in GP and Gem tokens, we have to have actual GP Reserve Tokens? That seems unnecessary, and in a way problematic, as the denominations of Reserve Tokens often are higher than the recipes (for instance, if most of my reserve tokens are 5,000 GP or higher, than that won't help with a 2,000 GP requirement). Plus, some of the transmuted tokens (Shade Cloak for instance) have a GP requirement lower than that of the lowest denomination reserve token, so for those you have to just send in non-reserve tokens.
