I think some of the things I liked best about Goonies and the Indiana Jones movies are the same things I like best about True Dungeons. The different puzzles that they have to solve and the different props they work with. And there are bad consquences if they get the puzzle wrong. When I talk to other people about a True Dungeon experience I try to relate it to the last part of The Last Crusade.

Yes, very much soo, fun and clever. I think thats part of the appeal is through the movie you get to tag along on the adventure and see if you can figure it out for yourself.
Goonies is great! And the Last Crusade was too. *smile*

Sorry fell off this board for some reason...been busy with junk.

Goonies is a great flick, any remake will have a hard time, but will merit some attention.

As for the RUM I drank it. ;)

:p You skipped a line Ha-ha

From what I understand, its not a remake, its a sequel with Original Cast to boot.

So I should be on the list for volunteers for next year, and I just have to wait and see if I can devote an entire day to work as a NPC or whatever...

But I was wondering, if you are a NPC, are non-alcoholic drinks possible in the inn???

I am a bit of a drinker be it water or RUM!

I have you on the Tavern list. We will even be using people in half day shifts this year in the Tavern.

But I was wondering, if you are a NPC, are non-alcoholic drinks possible in the inn???

I had a tankard, usually full of Diet Pepsi, in the Tavern last year. Non-Alc drinks wiol be possible this year for volunteers but nothing harder while working.

Caffeine in the INN GRRRRREAT!

Nothing says NPC like - "you see a mysterious man sitting in a dark corner shrouded in a dark cloak, WITH JITTERING HANDS and a strange yellow bubbling liquid in front of him.

Anyone remenber "Fly by night with Mountain Dew..."?
