TOPIC: How to volunteer

Okay, I went to the volunteer page but the only thing I could find that you could actually volunteer for was GenCon. I know that TD is at GameHole Con and Who's Your Con but didn't see anyway to volunteer for those cons. I was also unable to locate any information about what room and con fees being paid for volunteers other than coaches and DMs. Does this happen? If so are the requirements different?

I love this website as a rule but would like to see more information about cons other than GenCon.

Volunteers don't get rooms for WYC, but they do get a volunteer token. Most of those volunteers are locals so they can help build the dungeon then work shifts during the con. Gameholecon is a new thing this year, so I am not sure what they offer. There was a request for local (to that con) volunteers for the build, so I would assume it is the same set up.

Okay, since they are much smaller cons, that makes perfect sense. Soooo... how does one go about volunteering for WYC of GHC? Do they no longer need any volunteers for either con?

There is a usually a request that goes out in the newsletters. Requests for WYC probably won't go out until next year. I think GHC went out already. Kind of hard to be a local for each though

I am not local to GHC but I am to WYC and GenCon. I wasn't able to take my vacation during GenCon like I usually do, so I was thinking about volunteering for GHC. Doesn't look like that's gonna happen either though. Oh well.

I asked Lori about volunteering at GHC and she said the request was not out yet. There was a place for volunteering on the GHC web site.
