Thanks for the correction. I'd be all for having the large slider be a special AoW ability this year or a future year

I know this is a little off topic but if Jeff ever reintroduced the special I'd like to see it as something randomly inserted in packs. Kind of along the line of golden tickets. It would increase the rarity of it and make it truly "special".

if you are talking something like 10 points (or more) of psionics damage for wearing it every attack roll (the user makes)..then that could be interesting...anything under 10 and I know my HoP will be used..oh wait, I can have two neck slots...never mind (oh yea that was me rubbing it in)

Can a person choose to see what their roll is before deciding on wearing their AoW or is the AoW locked onto them before the die roll?

No, it is supposed to be a surprise, but word of mouth usually spreads the info on what it is once one is used.

Nope, once you roll the die, you are locked in no matter what comes up(unless you are in the party that uses the Golden Apple, in which case you get 2 rolls and choose the one you like).

i was standing right next to the person when they used one, So it wasnt even word of mouth

I have a couple specials stashed too. I thought the mega-slider was tremendously fun, but you are right- it probably wasn't worth a token that would cost you $100.

Some of the suggestions I had for psionics:

Elemental Resistance - Gain 5 HP resistance to one elemental force, chosen at start of adventure.

Psychic Foresight - Once per adventure, ask a DM a YES/NO question (not many powers exist that would help in a riddle room).

Psionic Blast - Once per adventure (or per room?) do 10 points of psychic damage to monster, but take 4 points of psychic backlash.
