It can be traded for almost any token 2007 and later. I know Artifacts, Legendaries, and Arcane Recipe are excluded, but I think some others might be as well. Probably Relics...

it say any token other than..Relics, wish, Artifacts, legendaries...if you wanted a common from 2007, you could get it..so the rods should count

Augh. That was the reward for the 'Special ?' turn in, too? Pardon while I set about kicking myself.

Well, I heard that you only got a *chance* to get it. Those turning in a Special flipped a coin so you got a 50/50 chance of getting it.

If that is true, maybe the token database should be updated to reflect that since right now it says that you automatically got one for turning in a Special.

I am 99% sure you are right Incognito, although I did not have any specials to turn in so I don't have first-hand knowledge of this. I know Lazlo mentioned turning in a lot (all?) of his specials for chances at getting the coins.

Also, the coin on tokendb has the incorrect picture and a slight error in the description. The actual coin includes 'Wish' as a token type that it cannot be exchanged for.

So the question is, will people actually use this ultra-rarer token?

This is correct. If turned in, they got to flip the token. If it landed Special side up they got the token. If it landed face-down, they got zlitch. A few token collectors went away disappointed...but it was worth the risk to them.
