TOPIC: Where is/was discussion on the multi-year shirt transmute?

My forum search is failing me. I found the initial description for the multi-year shirt here, in Jeff's notes on the 2020 tokens. But that doesn't quite match the description found at truedungeon.com/multi-year-tokens. Specifically, Jeff's notes mention the token will have a purple color (very neat if still true). Also, it seems that the plan for the fourth shirt was changed from a +2 Focus to a +3 Focus with some drawback. Was this change discussed anywhere?

I hadn't heard about the change to the Focus Shirt either, good catch. I remember that the original Shirt of Focus was going to be usable in the recipe, as the 4th shirt would essentially be a reprint of it. Now that the 4th Shirt is changed, I hope the original Shirt of Focus is still usable in the recipe.

Here's what I remember:

Transmute shirt: +2 to STR/DEX/CON/Focus incorporating 2020 (STR), 2021 (DEX), 2022 (CON), 2023 (Focus) URs.

First item of a new "Arcane" transmute class. There may, in the future, be Arcane set bonuses but nothing is guaranteed. Will not be part of the Eldritch set.

I had initially assumed that the Shirt of Focus would be an ingredient, but in design this year the speculation that a new UR shirt would printed in 2023 for the Focus ingredient. I don't believe this was settled by TPTB.

I have a shirt of focus that I no longer need but I'm holding on to it just in case it can be used for this transmute.

That seems pretty cut and dried. Maybe an exchange for Shirt of Focus into new transmute shirt then - similar to Gloves of Dexterity for Gloves of the Cutpurse.

If it can’t be turned in I might offer it in trade for a PYP, or keep it, depending on how I feel about the +3 focus shirt (with drawback).

First mention I can recall is this "Arcanum" concept from Jeff in 2020:

Pretty much matches truedungeon.com/multi-year-tokens , so current shirt timing should be 2020 (oaf), 2021 (nimble), 2022, 2023.

Previously, last multi-year was the stylish Kilt of Dungeonbane, ending with Barrelbane (2019). And 2018 had both Shirt of Focus and Kilt of Fatherbane...

I haven't seen that Shirt of Focus was part of a combo or set, and the timing of being printed in 2018 is off for it being part of an Arcanum set (guess it could be reprinted in 2023), but would be good to know!
