TOPIC: Token Store Closes after Halloween

Hey folks,

Just a friendly reminder that the Token Store is currently open and will remain open until 11:59 pm CDT on Halloween, AKA October 31st, 2021. If you've been putting off getting some 2021 token packs, make sure you complete your transaction before that time.

Any idea of when the 2022 tokens will go on sale?

Preorders usually start in November.

Any idea of when/if 2021 will get distributed as treasure? Knowing that is going to affect both vTD play and token store purchases for me and, from what I'm seeing, probably many other people.

My desire is for 2020 to run out before considering 2021 in treasure mix for uncommon and rare and not to jump the queue.

I respectfully disagree. I get there is more 2020 treasure, and I also don't want TD to take a hit on it.

That said, I have also had my fill of 2020 treasure, and am ready for other things.

It would be ok if they would mix it together if they had to. I’ve always liked the idea of rolling treasure, where the mix could possibly contain tokens from several years ago.

I agree with Endgame. As a newer player, I would love it if a R or UC from a few years ago appeared in my pulls. Like everyone else, I have gotten a lot of 2020 tokens through VTD, and I would love to see some 2021 tokens. Mixing the treasure would let us see the new tokens while still allowing TD to avoid the financial hit.

Considering that there are only a few months left in 2021, and a limited number of dungeons, Virtual and otherwise, I hope that the treasure has been changed to 2021 tokens.

Guess I'll find out later today.

People over in the spreadsheet thread have said they're still all 2020.

I'll add another vote for rolling treasure mixes, though! That would be fun, IMHO
