TOPIC: Feedback on the 2027 - 2030 Multi-Year Transmute Tokens

Here are the multi-year tokens that are coming through 2030. The 2027 Tokens are currently under production, but changes can be made to the 2028-2030 tokens.

Please share any feedback you have regarding 2028-2030 tokens (or how they stack with each other).

Is this final, or is there still room for change, as the issue with 8k slotless tokens with bonuses that also combine into a multi-year token is a fairly big issue for many in the community, as it forces those striving for the best of the best to buy 2 of them, as to keep a set for after the transmute becomes available.

Based on what you are saying one could argue that there was an issue with the current Path Fragment transmute path because some people that are trying for the best of the best couldn't afford it. You could carry this argument on to just about any Token because every person has a different amount of disposable income. There is no issue with the Token design. If you want two sets get two sets. If you can't afford it don't. All players want maxed out builds, but not all can afford it. That's how it's always been. The only issue here is TD has decided to design a set of Tokens that you can't afford. That's not their issue. A stat bump on each individual Paragon Token will help them retain their value for the ones that don't get transmuted. In theory this should help drive more Token sales. Personally I'd like for them not to have a stat boost because I think it feeds the power creep machine but I get why they are doing it.

Jeff, thanks so much for all of the information at the start of the multi-year transmute cycles! It is going to make it much easier for people to decide which sets to try to transmute.

Yeah, the fact that it's also some serious power creep, due to them being slotless, and based on the precedent of slotless transmutes of the past, like RoSP and Skull, the final product doesn't stack with the individual tokens, while these ones would, since they transmute into a different slot.

Personally I like it the way it is. I may be able to afford one in 2027 but not one in 2028, so it having that stat bump is why I am going from ignoring that 8k multi year to now considering it.

I think putting a stat bonus on the Codex is a bad idea. It's a massive power upgrade compared to the Dragon Orb, which took 8 years to make. You've already addressed the concerns about usefulness of the Codex if you can't get one of each by allowing four of any to be used to make a familiar. Please consider dropping the stat bonus or changing it to a few hit points.

We have 2 auctions going on right now on the forums, Path of Enlightenment Fragment 4 one is sitting at $51 and the other at $11 currently. With no stat boosts on these they are basically worthless if you don’t have the previous years token. The codex on the other hand has a value in of them self, this should prevent the price crashing once people complete the 3 they need.

We'll see about that. I'm not sure a +2 stat boost is going to be worth as much as people are thinking. If the current Path's had stat boosts I'm guessing you could add a few hundred bucks to each of them now in the current auctions but not more than that. We'll see though...

My guess is that when you say the art is final means that everything on the tokens including text is final. If that's the case then since we know the text on the final product isn't final since it has to be personalized, we loop the bonuses for each codex into it if possible.
