While you are under no obligation to follow this request, please wait until Saturday, Sept. 19th, 2026 to start any token auctions. I realize the 2026 tokens are still available at this time, but I think it is a good idea to get started at this time.

NOTE: For 2027, we have re-aligned and re-named the $1k, $2k and $8k options due to many reasons. Names have been re-done so they directly link to the best benefit -- TD Con 2029. The rough draft is now online at the link below. Please have a link and let us know if you see an error. The Image Gallery at the bottom of the page currently have 2026 images, but they will be updated later on Monday.


Changes for 2027

Due to issues at Gen Con, we are now longer offering Adventurers' Guild button with $2k orders. Nothing else is changing. You can still get free bag check for a $2k order, but to do so you must show the $2k premium token -- the Shirt of Cat's Gift to leave your bag. You will still get 1-day early access to tickets at td.events.

To help with rising prices in production, freight and shipping, we have discontinued the "Patron Pin" for $8k orders. Again, you can still get bag check access by showing your $8k premium token -- the 1st Codex of the Familiar token to drop off you bag. This does NOT effect anything else from the Patron program. There will actually be TWO VTD Patron events, and 2-day early access to tickets at td.events will still happen.

We added the new "Trade 2" $8k Super Condensed option while deleting the Safehold III option.

Yes. $2K and $8K buyers still get early access. There will be two VTD Patron events in 2027. Original post is updated with more clear text. Thanks!

Noticed an error when stating the $2k Cat-themed token transmute into Pants of Cat's Pounce which is the 2030 token instead of the Cat Familiar token

There are a bunch of places where it still says 2025 or 2026 instead of 2026 or 2027. I recommend a Find/Change for those.

Oh, and I would recommend changing the intro paragraph so it doesn't used the old $8k Super Condensed naming convention. You may want to lead the whole page with the name changes for the 1k, 2k, and 8k orders.

A recent email mentioned "We will redesign the vital pre-game experience to improve it for new and veteran players."

Have you considered bringing back bag check as a for-fee service available to any player with a wristband for that day (in addition to being free for $2k buyers / AG members)?

I'm sure there are logistical challenges associated with doing this, but I also know it would greatly benefit a lot of casual players, could make TD some additional money, and would remove an element of the experience that is currently perceived as heavily elitist.

Thanks for the tips! Note: I searched "2025" on the page and I only found one instance of it. Maybe refresh your cache, or maybe our Search stinks?

Can you elaborate on what sort of issues occurred with bag check at Gen Con?

Thanks this is helpful clarification. It sounds like the only things that are changing about the patron program (patron runs, patron code, patron run SWAG) are: (1) two (different?) runs (but maybe the same SWAG across the two runs?) and (2) no pin. Right?

We are going to try this in 2027. Anyone who makes a purchase at the onsite TD Store will get a hand-stamp that allows them free bag check service for the day. A purchase can be a single token pack.

All right except the two different VTD $8k Runs will have two different swag tokens.
