TOPIC: Which Exhibit Hall?

...or at least Hall A and the 125-128 rooms across the hall.

We really need a lot more (better-lit) space for gathering, trading, and pulling in GC crowds to see what's going on.

As this was my first year back since 2008, I definitely agree that this is needed

The sarcophagus room was way too narrow.

TrueCraft could come back in a form in Hall A, but not the dedicated game Simon rooms and whatnot. To be honest, those were my least favorite part anyway because of the time and long lines. The sliding table game and the NPC quests don't need as much space.

2008 was my first year, and players were already complaining about the space reduction from the previous year for the tavern area.

How about then we lost the Cityscape after 2005?
NOW this is the Law of the Jungle — as old and as true as the sky;
And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the Wolf that shall break it must die.

As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk the Law runneth forward and back —
For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

Next year GenCon is before preseason football starts, right? So we should take over the field in the stadium.

I'll second that the sarcophagus room was a very tight fit for ten people. I wasn't around in 2008 but the tavern idea seems great- I'd love a theme bar for True Dungeon. I would also like to see the AG area in the storyscape again.

It wasn't exactly spacious for a 5 person group. And two of them are tiny.

I'd love to see the True Tavern return. Maybe across the hall. It could be a place to eat (from the food vendors) chat and trade tokens. Could have better lighting and more air flow! :)

Truecraft was a welcome addition to TD for many reasons.

The tavern was nice because it provided a well lit place for people to congregate.

The absence of both of these was a negative on TD for this year.

Space limitations were a negative for the absence of these, but in the context of dungeon rooms, sometimes unusual configurations and space limitations add a sense of realism that is lacking in many of the rooms.

Immersiveness is an under appreciated component of TD that in my opinion, should be factored into every decision about design and development.

If we stay in the current space, I don't think we'll have room for the return of the tavern, esp. if we continue to have 2 forms of 2 dungeons, which would be my preference.
