Signed tokens?

Appears to be proof tokens signed by Jeff?

Correct!

So now the question is, what's a proof token? :)

A small print run of an item (in this case tokens) that is made based on the completed designs and sent to the buyer to verify the printing is producing the desired items correctly before the full run is done.

Correct! You win my everlasting thanks!

There aren't many of these proof tokens around, and very few still have Jeff's initials still visible. Hopefully people have enjoyed seeing what these look like.

My recollection is in 2008, for every $250 order you placed for the first wave of tokens, you could get one of these. The following year, I believe Onyx tokens were introduced replacing this promotion, and I think Jeff still called the Onyx tokens “proofs” that year.

Onyx replaced the proofs. Not sure about this year since they all shipped together.

I still have my signed Amulet of Wonder Proof Token that Jeff gave me as a reward for coming up with the idea (back when he did a "contest" for people to come up with the best design for a UR).

My recollection is similar, except that you were able to get up to 50% of your URs as proofs (every other one).

Looks like one of the early character cards. Kept by TD for multiple users so we always turned them in.
Tenth level achieved! Now for the long journey to 11th level!
