My assumption, which could be wrong, is that someone who starts, say, in 2024, will be able to “catch up” by using the every-other-month system, but only up to Safehold III in October 2024. They’ll have to wait until January 2025 to make Safehold II - Under Construction, like everyone else. It’s folks starting in 2025 who could theoretically power through the levels and get to Safehold I/Mythic 1 in a year. (Of course, that assumes an extraordinary amount of trade goods, and those of us who start now get the benefits of any hirelings, underlings, and followers we make in the interim.)

Makes sense, but… if we can’t even start on other levels until later years, then it would still slow the process while giving new players that join in future years before SH I is released. Alternating now would work just the same. Thanks for typing that out! I took a SS so I can file it so I don’t forget 😂
