TOPIC: If you are participating in an auction, read this! Seriously

In spite of me having warned about this before, I'm going to say it again:
The information on the Current Collection page is in flux. Please, don't assume those numbers are set in stone at this point—they are not.

I will post when that page is finalized.

I'm delighted there is such interest in pre-orders, but I'm quite concerned folks are going to have hurt and/or angry feelings if when the numbers change underneath them.

If you are participating in an auction for something that winds up not existing, please don't come crying to me because you have been warned--twice now.

*laugh* I mentioned that as well. I think people are rushing to go first but may end up not getting what they thought.

And here’s the reason I couldn’t run TD. At this stage, I would randomly change the order page until the date when things are official. One day, the price is $20k for the $8k order, the next day, it’s back to regular pricing and every $8k order comes with a free real Ocelot.

The opportunity to mess with us would be just too hard to resist.

I expect a number of changes since the trade good numbers are based on 2019 token mix. Not sure if other items (e.g., UR,, dragon orb, wish ring, etc numbers) will change though. But sounds like they could. Since trade goods numbers haven't been updated I am doing non-condensed orders and then plan on mailing the bulk back in to transmute..

Not sure if prices will change. But sounds like they could.

I'm not sure I'll ever do non-condensed again. Last year I had 2 $8K orders and did one super condensed and the other normal - too many hours were spent stacking commons, etc just to mail back. I know I'll miss out on some rares, etc that I'd likely want but it's worth spending an extra $100 to just buy the bits and pieces I didn't get to not spend the hours sorting (then lugging the heavy boxes).

Hopefully, next year will have the multi-unit trade tokens available (individual tokens that say 10X Mystic Silk, etc.). I'm sure all our postal friends would be thankful

I ran a spreadsheet of what I'll need for transmutes this year as well as URs, etc that I'd like. Once everything is published, I'll plug the new numbers into the sheet and figure out what I'll do. Odds are, I'll do like last year and have some extra PYPs I won't need that I'll trade for tokens I'm hunting.

I hope that the community is supportive. TD not making any significant changes and not increasing pricing for a decade is definitely not the norm. If they do make substantial changes, we really should encourage everyone to be understanding - if they can't make a living/profit at this, we lose our hobby.

Yes the condensed numbers looked wrong a day or two ago when I looked at them, but it appears they have been adjusted since then.

They do look updated and in alignment with 2020 token collection.

Just curious of other changes including the speculations wrt price increases and possible other content changes.

There are no plans to increase prices this year, so you may put those fears to rest. The changing numbers I referred to in my initial post were mainly about Trade quantities changing.
