Standard lightning rules apply with two small caveats:

• If someone bids to tie you, you will not get bumped into the next bid increment (ala eBay). If you got there first, you can only be bumped up to the next highest max bid, and not forced above.
• Once we hit our funding amount, all items bid on within the final hour will remain open for 24 hours for any last bids. This is to prevent sniping to get to funding amount and allow any last bids to come in.

Wait a sec. I check the forums very often and yesterday I not see this auction posted. I always check the recent posts. Are you saying you hosted an 8K auction basically over night and you had enough people bid that it funded?? I guess I could have missed it but I doubt it. And Wade's took more that 24 hours to fund. Something doesn't sound right. What am I missing..?

Rob, it did fund extremely fast. I put some bids in very soon after it was posted, and several people bid before I did.

Agreed on that side and happened in less than 24 hours! I posted it once Wade's funded (around 2PM PT) and by noon it hit!

That said, I'm opening another one as just received some late bids and seems there is still demand so stay tuned...

I guess I didn't check as much as I usually do yesterday. Football games probably had my attention...

EVENING UPDATE: Congratulations all on another great Auction! I would send out the final receipts to the winners tonight, but as I've been up since 3:30 AM and on a conference call since 4 AM, I'm going to crash...At that point where the fear of making a mistake is greater than the desire to get out the receipt requests...

That said, I did get all the UR requests in and have placed the order earlier today (confirmed shipped from True Adventures already)! This means pending crazy USPS craziness, I should receive it and get it repackaged in time for GHC (fingers crossed!). Thanks again and here's to many more!
