TOPIC: Any Standard Format Auctions planned?

Any Standard Format Auctions planned? 2 years 5 months ago #1

Out of curiosity, is anyone planning to do any auctions of the format a bunch of them were in at the end of the 2021 ordering period (just a week or two ago)? I used the "standard" phrase since I wasn't sure how to describe them. I was surprised that there aren't any of them considering how successful they were in the last few weeks. I'm ready to bid if anyone does them. :)

What is standard auction? I am running an auction right now until Nov 11.

I tried to explain it in my post, the format a bunch of auctions used in the last few weeks. Everything for sale using eBay style bidding, ending at a certain date or when a dollar threshold is hit (usually around $7,500 I think). They were often funding in a few days or even less than one day.

I expect there will be quite a few regular auctions with 7500 goals or 8K goals (especially ones like Casey's where he auctions off the random URs as well.)

My auction is likely to reach funding goal this weekend (at 94% right now) and be done. In general, typical auctions go much faster. We had a bit of start and stop by jumping the gun before 2021 orders were done and this one is for 2 full 8K orders plus about 10%-15% of the trade goods from another 8k order (plus some additional URs like Kvothe's.)

I am curious where pricing will stabilize on some of the items like the orbs, patron pins, rings, UR +1 turkey legs, etc. once several auctions are run. At least PYPS seem clear to be running at $105 to $110 this year for pre-orders.

I had been hoping to run one, but it felt like there were a lot of people already playing in the space and I didn't want to step on toes. I'd happily start one if it felt there was room.

Ok, mine doesn't have EVERYTHING, because I want to keep some, but there are plenty of URs and rings of 5th circle. And it IS ebay style bidding. So, go toss in your max bids :)

Good point, although yours is a strict time end instead of an optional "hit a dollar threshhold end". I am keeping an eye on it. :)

I'll definitely be running one in the near future. Been waiting for Fred's to get near funding veggie kicking it off, there's already a lot. Super condensed, no onyx, everything for sale. It'll stop two weeks after it starts or 24 hours after hitting the funding goal, to whichever comes first.

I'm going to be starting a standard auction very soon with end date of November 22nd. Just waiting for a few to finish so as not to interfere. As unusual I'll be auctioning off the random URs as well.

I'll be looking forward to bidding on all the standard auctions - as long as my Token funds last. :)

I'm strongly considering running one soon too.
