TOPIC: 2026 Token Auction Queue

Still a lot of unknowns, so it will be interesting to see how next year shakes out.

I think there are more Rings available than there are the number of people who will end up going to Ring Con.

Unlike Skull Con (where the Skulls are numbered), the Rings are not numbered. That will probably impact sign-up. It currently says you just need one transmuted Ring to participate in the Ring Con events. I assume they will need to limit how many runs a person can sign up for. It could end up only being one (Skull Con had a two run limit, but you needed a 2nd Skull to run it a 2nd time). If sign-up is through TD.Events, I have no idea how they will control things.

Transmuting the Path to Enlightenment Fragments in order to Sign-up for a Patron run will likely have a deadline in March or April. They said they need lead time to make the transmuted Marks. No need to panic, but as that date approaches, people who still don't have all 4 fragments may be bidding more on the last fragment they need. However, the number of people needing the last fragment will be constrained by past $8K orders.

Next year, the patron code will NOT get you into the Ring-con patron event. So, I have to assume there will be another (probably virtual) patron event. This year there was only one in April. Prior years had two. But for anyone going to Origins (assuming TD will return), I think people planning to attend saw that those with patron codes pretty much bought out the Origin's Grind runs. So, there is that value.

There's also the fact that two Arcanum items will be transmutable in 2026. Both are very useful, as is the Arcanum set bonus, so people may not want to wait long to complete the ingredients they need to do the transmute. Does that mean prices will fall as get further into the year. Possibly. And yet there may be other factors TD throws at us. I guess it's just fun to speculate until we learn more.

My feelings toward a queue are somewhat neutral. I've already arranged my own $8K order for the first time, primarily so I won't have to worry about how the bidding goes.

Are ONYX auctions still possible this year? I was under the impression that the ONYX auction currently running was the last ONYX $8K purchase available from TD. I could be mistaken though.

The ONYX Auction I am currently running is the last available 8K ONYX Auction for the token set of 2025 ( information from Grunnel ). As far as future years and there ONYX Auctions, those should all be 100% good.

You probably should wait until the ordering window is closed for 2025 tokens before starting any 2026 auctions.
