+1 to Focus makes far more sense on elf than on wizard. Focus vs spell damage only matters to wizzes when they poly, and elf polys better.

Developers don't need to code some abilities. If going to bother with any abilities, I'd do abilities that require zero code as things like "Elf is immune to petrification from ghouls." and "Druid is immune to lycanthropy." and "Cleric/Paladin are immune to vampire charm." and ... whatever.

I like these flavorful and narrow abilities way better even if they'd be used less often.
