My group currently has 5 tickets for this run. We have a mix of experience (I volunteer) so the classes that we usually play are Druid, Rouge, Fighter/Dwarf Fighter, Barbarian, Ranger. We are well equipped for all classes, but would love to coordinate with anyone else who has this run.

Thank you,

Jason

Hey There

My friend and I are signed up for this. Both of us have never done this before but have been gaming for 20+ years each.

So if you have any suggestions we are open to them.

Just in case Jason doesn't respond since it appears he is newish to the forums as well. Let me welcome you to the forums.

Advice

1. Communicate with the group in the dungeon. This is a team activity the better you work as a group the better experience you should have. Usually (not always) the first room involves some sort of puzzle that is intended to get the entire group to work together. I usually say depending how the first room goes depends how your adventure goes (exceptions are always abound).

2. Arrive early. You can go into the coaching room 30 minutes before your start time. Do it. It will give you a chance to hopefully meet the other people in your group, trade tokens to get a good mix, and choose classes.

3. If you want to learn more about the different classes and combat:
www.truedungeon.com/how-to-play/item/9-combat-system
www.truedungeon.com/how-to-play/item/8-classes-characters
www.truedungeon.com/resources

4. Have fun. Enjoy the 2 hours. Don't stress about it too much. You may not solve all the puzzles or defeat all the monsters, but that doesn't mean you cannot have fun.

5. At the end of your adventure you are going to get some treasure. If you decide to sell it, I would recommend getting a second and maybe even third opinion on prices. There is likely an exhibitor that will give you cash for it but not very much. If you do get anything good it could (though very unlikely) be worth $100 to $1000. So getting a second or third opinion is always a good idea.

Have fun storming the castle.
You either discover a star or you don't. You arrogant punk.

Hey Ben,

Thanks for responding. Everything Jedi told you is correct. I will be at the event at least by 6:00 if not sooner. I am bringing 7 different characters pre-built that may just need a little tweeking depending on what we get when we check it. There are only 5 of us, so we may be able to help you and your friend out with equipment before we start the adventure. The best advice I can give is speak up, it will take all of us to solve these puzzles and every idea is ok. We can get rewarded for thinking out of the box as well. communication is key. I look forward to meeting you before the event, and I am sure we will have a great time.

Thanks,

Jason
