TOPIC: Tickets Available for Thursday NM run

I have three different runs that I am holding all 10 tickets for. I am looking to fill out a few seats for each and reaching out via the forums to fill out. Please read below for details about each event.


Event #1 Thursday - 8:51a Dancing Among Stones (Puzzle)

This is a NIGHTMARE run with a kicker.
The additional modifier is there is extra rule for this called "I Am Groot".

Once we are in the dungeon the only words that we can say are I, Am, Groot. In that particular order. Yes, we're being silly and are looking for others interested in joining in. We're running this early in the Con so no one actually knows the answers that could make this "easier" later in the Con.

Event #2 Friday - 9:50p Dancing Among Stones (Combat)

I host two runs with my friends who play once a year at Gen Con. They are in events 2 & 3. This run is a NORMAL run. I ask anyone joining this that is overgeared for normal, and interested, to bring your character level down in order to not carry the party through. This is what I do, because I don't need my NM equipped character to one shot the baddies.

Below is a list of the classes that are TAKEN.
Player 1 - Dwarf Fighter or Fighter
Player 2 - Ranger
Player 3 - Cleric
Player 4 - Monk
Player 5 - Rogue
Player 6 - Wizard
Player 7 - Druid
Player 8 - Alex (combat class) PAID
Player 9 - Bosi (PAID)
Player 10 - Bosi's friend (PAID)

Event #3 Saturday 5:37p Moongate Maze (Puzzle)

I host two runs with my friends who play once a year at Gen Con. They are in events 2 & 3. This run is a NORMAL run. I would like to join in for the Thursday 8:51a Dancing Among Stones (Puzzle).

I would prefer to run this on Hardcore or Nightmare for the added challenge but understand if you prefer normal.

Do you still have openings for the Moongate Puzzle run?

If so, my wife and I may be interested... And what do you consider overgeared for normal?

I just updated my list. Currently I will have someone ahead asking about one of the two open spots left. Currently awaiting payment. I can contact you if I don't get anything from them soon. If you're all reds you're more than geared enough for normal and can do hardcore too.

Bummer! We are really hoping to get into a moon gate run as that's the only one we have not been able to yet. If you do not receive payment on that other ticket, we will definitely be interested in taking it off of your hands. Look forward to hearing from you!

I'm your wizard on the Groot run, is it okay to have a cheat card for my damage if the mad evokersd charm is added...i don't want to eat up all of the combat time trying to get a spell off.

Adam, as long as the only words used for talking are "I am Groot" then it's no problem with me if you want to write down numbers on an index card for each damage number (if needed).

No need to eat up any more time than necessary for any class ability, healing, special token usage etc.

I will saying i am groot to keep combat sliding going. Any questions from room dm will be answered i am groot.

Any puzzle that requires spoken words will automatically result in push damage for the group.

No reading aloud the rogue clue.

Will require working together using nonverbal means along with being aware of combat slides etc. Essentially no lollygagging or you miss your turn.

I am looking forward to the run since my hearing loss requires me to do some of this during other runs.

Someone (dischordette) on the GenCon forums was just looking for a 2-spot for a first TD run on Friday. I pointed to here, so hopefully you will have takers you can evaluate before meeting them around the table.
