I feel like it would be very simple to do a thematic D&D adventure (or just generic superheroes) in the same vein so there wouldn't need to be concern with Disney rights.

I agree that generic heroes would probably be the way to go, so that True Dungeon would own all the rights.

Maybe the biggest challenge would be space, because any space for True Heroes couldn't be used for True Dungeon. Although, True Heroes was held in a slightly different location, so maybe that could be the case now.

At GenCon TD was able to test using part of the main causeway of Lucas Oil for True Grind. That area is quite large and it's likely we could do something like that again but add another event. I can't speak for GHC/PAX on that. Origins seems like there could be enough room in the TD area for another event (perhaps using where the various "Gorgon" events are held during slots when that event isn't running?)

Of course, we may be overthinking this. If 1 of the 3 adventures this year were cancelled, that means that entire area would be free. That is a ton of space for running an event.

I never even considered that True Dungeon might only run two events at GENCON because the Underthing is being pushed back, but I guess it's possible. I'd guess they will replace it with an all-new TD adventure, or a retro TD adventure, or maybe a duplicate of one of the other two. If none of those things happens, True Heroes would be great!

I'd be very surprised if there was not a third adventure, even if its a generic dungeon crawl.
