I don't know that there would be a lot new player would want the previous year's tokens. New players in general don't know anything about tokens. They are less likely to know about tokens from the previous year than the current. Since the current year's tokens are more likely to help in the current year than the previous year then it is actually something I would recommend against for new players. Maybe I am not fully understanding what you are suggesting.

Its never going to be as big a market as current year, but I could see people buying packs of an old year. I mean I wouldn't go out of my way at HQ or anything but if they have say 200 packs of 2017 sitting around and the store could easily be setup to allow the sales 2017 packs with a limit on the total number of orders why not make them available "in limited quantities, while supplies last"

I had several buyers of them, and they were quite happy to have some of the older tokens mixed in instead of just the current year. The inclusion of older token packs was the key selling point for several people.

Good planning on your part to place another order already, it has been nice to have these events so often I guess I didn't think about the increase in treasure going out.

I think it would be a nice option for those that would like to get some of the older tokens. Obviously for those that prefer all current year tokens, they can still do that.

We will only be using 2020 Uncommobs and Rares through all of 2021. Back in September of 2020 (when the order was placed), things looked rather bleak so not a lot of bulk 2021 Uncommon and Rares were ordered. Most will go to Condensed packs. I suppose maybe at the last Con before new tokens arrive we can use any leftover 2021 Uncommon and Rares. When we placed the order doing a VTD every month was unthinkable. Sorry!

No need to apologize. We will take out 2020 loot and be thankful!

These seems like good problems to me...it mean True Dungeon is thriving more than expected. And that is good for the company and good for the players as well. And let's just be honest probably 90% of those rares and uncommons just head right back to Carbondale to become trade goods anyway. Those not are some consumables and some things for newer players and that seems fine to me.

Will the booster packs for v4b and later switch to 2021 boosters, or will those stay 2020 as well?
