TOPIC: How much Role-playing is expected?

The DM may ask you to sing, but just start with anything, and it really won't matter what you do. Hum, or sing, the DM will be way busier working on combat and damage. I doubt the DM would say that the bard song isn't working with everything else going on.
But singing is the best. lots of good choices for songs.
But no one expects the Elf Wizard to speak Elvish, or the Cleric to actually pray, so don't worry about it, just have fun.

Even though a DM may encourage a bard player to sing, a bard player is most definitely NOT required to sing. If the DM insists, make a note of the room number (or just a brief description of the combat/puzzle) and let the Adventure Coordinator or any TDHQ staff member know what happened. Don't worry, you're not going to get the DM in trouble, we just want to make sure they know what the policy is.
