I think it would be neat if player rewards tracked dungeons run (total, non unique dungeons regardless of difficulty, probably including stuff like grind, etc.)

XP could still be its weird “unique dungeons run but also difficulty matters and survival stats but not for redux or greatest hits dungeons but sometimes for non GenCon dungeons but also for redux dungeons if you don’t have xp from the original” system it is today.

I have a weird relationship with XP... being an XP Hoarder by nature... but also having advocated for a lot of TD events to NOT be worth XP. I strongly feel that any event which is exclusive (like GT runs) or "high end ticket" runs (like Path of Enlightenment) or limited tix /hard to get (like Grind) should not be worth XP, so that the average player can earn just as much XP a year as the high rollers.

I'd also support different ways to track bragging rights, though. Perhaps with Mythic, we can have a separate tracking system which tracks number of games played, instead of unique events? Or maybe shake up the XP system, and have a max value of points which can be counted as XP in a given year, but have that number be larger for new players, and smaller for older players. There's definitely room for discussion on the topic.

Raven, I'm glad your streak is continuing, and I hope it is able to continue long into the future.

Like you, I was an XP hoarder (until I decided to stop doing VTD), and I was 100% with you in advocating for XP to only be given for runs that everyone was allowed to do. I always liked the policy that you could always get max XP by doing all the runs at GENCON each year. I understand why TD changed that policy due to VTD and all the other conventions.
