That looks very sweet.

Sartre sits in in a coffee shop and asks for a coffee without cream. The barista apologizes “Sorry, we don't have any cream. Can I offer you a coffee without milk instead?”

Well, about my group of friends.

As I feared, I lost 2 for sure, maybe 3. Sad as I really enjoyed TD'ing with one of them alot.

But on the flip side, I gained 3 possible 4 after I told them what Jeff said. And all of them want to do every run at Gencon.

Now I have to secure 3 full runs of tickets.

Hope my Credit card doesn't explode, LOL

Looking forward to this year Jeff.

Wow, so you have 3 or 4 friends that attend GENCON but have never done True Dungeon, and the premium Dungeons are what got them to take the leap? That's awesome, I wonder if a lot of people will have that reaction. We've talked a lot about people dropping due to the price, but I wonder how many new players will jump on because of the premium Dungeons.

Jeff - maybe you should take what you posted here (or something similar), and send it out in a newsletter. I know even that won't reach brand new players directly, but maybe it will via word of mouth. And maybe you'll get some lapsed players to jump back in. I found it very inspirational, and I'm sure many others will also.

The price increase is unfortunate, not a dealbreaker, but $100 Canadian (at the current exchange) for an adventure is a bit steep for my budget. Doable, but definitely as a one-off.

I find the decreased tickets to be considerably more concerning, though with the commentary in this topic alone regarding reduced participation, perhaps it will balance out to some degree. Don't get me wrong, I don't for a second think it will become 'easier' to get a slot on a run, but perhaps it'll change the calculus for a number of people.

Note; I'm not at all throwing shade or scorn at those who make those hefty (and often generous) dives into whole run purchases, for 5 mans or solo challenges or whatever. Simply noting that a change, in general, may be present.

I'd like to get in a run, and will keep my fingers crossed for when I attend, be it acquiring a ticket on my own, perhaps getting a slot through a forum contact, or with a larger group aiming to buy out a run of their own, but it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Edit: I see the ticket quantities have gone up again, which is awesome, though I do enjoy having a use for my meager collection, so I'm not sure if the Sealed adventure holds the same appeal. It does shuffle things a little all the same.

Got to do it at Disney Springs. Very cool tech, and has interaction with props, and separate rooms.
Could get a lot more content in a smaller space and less setup and tear down. :woohoo:

Thanks for sharing the link. Just got to do this today and loved it. I'd let them work out some of the technology bugs before trying to apply this to something like True Dungeon, but the possibilities are amazing.
