Combat mechanics-wise, it is a shuriken.
Healing-wise, it's HP food.
After you eat it, you can no longer throw it.

Does this mean they return with Drakes?

If it is a shuriken, would there also be any potential rules issues as up until now shuriken have been class restricted? Would a Barbarian, for example, be able to use Ring of the Drake and Acorns to get returning Shurikens, when previously they couldn’t even use shurikens?

Barbarian, along with all classes, can already use a mighty sling. The acorn is basically a better mighty sling in regards to damage when paired with Ring of the Drake. When not paired with Ring of the Drake, its generally worse than +1 Throwing Hammers or +1 Hurled Insults.

Well you may be able to still throw it in one direction...

Participation Tokens:

Charm of Sacrifice: Remove the words "You may". They make "take 15 points of damage" sound optional.

IS Ruby Pyramid: Specify it is for damage spells.

UR Tokens:

Ring of the Savant: Specify it adds to the final "Spell" total... just so everyone knows what this is referring to.

More like … Nutty cleric activated!

How does our friend goblin feel about the gib-bug superiority of a rare being 2/rnd and the pointy stick not being FoB?

Do we need signed nut allergy waivers for pulling tokens in 2023? ;)

Just want to say how good the item images look this year. I'm particularly impressed with the the Participation token images.

Agreed! You've mentioned in the past that you buy them from a site-any chance you could share the URL? I could use art like this for materials in my gaming group and always enjoy supporting artists

Uncommon Eyepatch still shows Darkwood Plank. This year's eye patch transmuted into Mystic Silk.

Assuming that's a serious question, please elaborate.

I'm pretty sure that's a joke indicating if you instead of treating all Gib-Gib's Handy Acorns as Shurikens, you did the opposite and treated all Shurikens as Gib-Gub's Handy Acorns and tried to eat them to heal 7 points you'd have a bad time.

There is a general metajoke of the form:

Instructions unclear; (description of unlikely scenario which could not possibly arise from any reading of the instructions).
