TOPIC: What happens to underpopulated runs?

I'm signed up for the 11:24 run on Saturday, and right now, we only have 3 people signed up. I went to exchange my ticket for a different time, and realized that I just missed the 24 hour window by 2 minutes, so I can't switch runs now. What happens to runs with not nearly enough people signed up? Do they just carry on and hope to get through Normal without dying?

I've done a few PUGs before where we only had 4 or 5 people, in all cases we've just gone ahead with the run while requiring the usual agreement about all players agreeing to the same difficulty level for anything above the default of Normal.

Totally depends upon how strong your build is.

If another run is short players and you want to switch, I'd reach out to Lori and see what can be done. More often than not, they are happy to combine runs and fill them up as much as possible.

I once had a really fun time doing a 3-person run this way, because it meant my Retribution Paladin with Amulet of Guarding could take LITERALLY ALL THE MELEE HITS!

Sometimes, TPTB will see adjacent or really close runs that only have a couple people in them and they will reach out to try and combine them.

Thank you for the suggestion. I contacted Lori, and she was able to help me out.
