Googles now useful for normal and hardcore spell casters, if they want to have that expense which is not needed at those DRs. Suggest replacing this UR with one that is useful for more classes and DRs.

Goblet is only UR I see spell casters equipping if any.

Only URs needed by spell casters are those for transmuting to legendary cloak if they plan to do that along with greaves and manual which every class can use.

Jeff, the Crossbow seems awfully powerful to be "all classes". I think the closest comparison is the +2 Lt Stunning Crossbow in that it has a similar damage wheel and a bonus ability. That one is all but Cleric, should Cleric be left off of this one also? The only crossbow I see that allows the Cleric is the Underwater one. Normally Druids & Wizard are left off also, but there are some where they are included.

Please put this back to a ranged Damage bonus.

Of the existing 12 UR goggles:
* 0 of them give a missile damage bonus
* 1 gives a spell damage bonus.
* 1 gives a melee damage bonus
While 4 of them, e.g. 1/3 of all UR eye slot items, give some kind of ranged to-hit bounus ( tokendb.com/to-hit-bonus/ranged/?fwp_slot=eyes&fwp_rare_box=ultra-rare )

I'd rather see something else entirely than another ranged-to-hit boosting UR eye item.

Maybe set the max to +3 and let you choose either +3 ranged to-hit or +3 ranged damage?

Personally I prefer it stay hit bonus in stats that synergies well with the mystic staffs, currently those stats are underused.

My feeling is right now other than stuff I need for multi-year or higher level transmutes I can sit next year out as spellcaster. That's fine. Normally 2 or 3 URs make my build better. Guess we've just gotten to the point that's no longer viable.

That's fine. Means I can focus resources on mythic.

FWIW: I'm pretty sure the only class in 3.5 that doesn't have proficiency with light and heavy crossbows is druid.

I'm not that familiar with 3.5 rules, but isn't the Cleric still prevented from pointed weapons?

If we are going to match up to dnd then elf wizards should be able to use swords. But has not been the case, so I don't see any reason to restrict or enable classes based on dnd.

Good point. I wasn't sure where the 3.5 reference came from, I didn't think D&D was tied to a particular D&D edition. I'm fine though if the Legendary crossbow restricts the classes and Druid is one of them left off.

I’m totally onboard with a long sword with elf wizard on it.

That sounds awesome. I would love to see Elf Wizard get a magic sword that lets them use INT rather than STR too, but that's getting way ahead of things.

TD is based loosely on 3rd edition D&D.

I think the vampire ring seemed really cool themed as a ring. Less so as an earcuff. I can’t justify this with stats just coolness theme.
