Could the keen ring apply to ranged attacks as well? Lots of comments about it being a weak UR but it might actually make some archer builds with the crossbow.

Ultimately the transmuted manual should cost more than a legendary to transmute and should be in excess of $2k based on $50 URs and current trade good auction prices.

Given the current power of the goggles the ring is more inline with a relic power level. If the ring applies to range attacks also it would be inline with being a legendary since it would include missiles and slide spells which is part of a power on the mage legendary necklace.

Flik wrote: Excuse me if someone asked this already but for FoP: Pilgrim, how could you ever use it to cure yourself of charm or fear? Those status effects negate your turn completely and you could actually never activate the FoP.

The feared effect is: "victim cowers in a corner, unable to act; no AC change"

The activation ability of Figurines of Power is described as: "Like all figurines, this item can be activated instantly, without requiring any kind of Action–Free or Standard."

I don't see a problem - activating a figurine isn't an action.

If you think about it, lots of Figurines do weird timing things. For example FoP: Cat lets you reroll a failed save - but certainly you don't get an action between failing a save and having the failure take effect.

I'll admit I didn't know this. Pleasantly surprised all FoP are instant actions. It makes sense looking at all the ones I've used before. I will say if you are cowering in fear and cant act I'm not sure why you can still use an instant action but I digress. I'll go with Jeff's post above that reminds me of the dnd spell Contingency.

At a glance wondering why the hat of Critical thinking helps boost ranged sneak attack which is already the best build for rogue by a wide margine and not melee sneak which to be honest is lagging behind.

Figure it was targeted for a high end monk with the legendary and two ashers attacking at range with twice the chance to crit per round and will keep them consistently doing 150+ per attack round without crits and extra damage from this token.

If ranged rogue is the best, why not help it?

Note: The amulet of aiming expands crit range for all attacks and I’ve never seen nor heard about it being used. That would imply the ability is not relic or legendary power.
