The crossbow is meh. I am ok with it at UR but the transmute tree makes no sense. I'll post about that piece there.
The shirt isn't terribly interesting. I would vastly rather it be a shape-change item available for all classes. 1/game you can turn into a werewolf.

I'll be getting the crossbow for our rogue Assassin. :)

It is ok but I wouldn't pay new PYP prices for it. If I had to choose between a sacred sling and the UR crossbow, with the current pricing on that sling, it would be hard to justify the crossbow. $30 for the sling or $80+ for the crossbow. With the gloves that just came out, a UR using rogue is best off with the gloves and a nightshade's dagger.

That is true. From my perspective, our Rogue played the Assassin for the first time last year, and was SO happy when she assassinated the boss monster. The Crossbow has a "6" on 1/3 of the damage wheel, which is a bit better than the 1/4 of the damage wheel for the sacred sling. I know that's a corner case though, I have no idea how many people play the Assassin class even once a year.

On the other hand, maybe I'm better off with the sacred sling to keep all of the monsters from getting assassinated. ;)

If memory serves, the best assassin weapons are the assassin's crossbow and the assassin's blade. The assassin's blade is a great comparison. The assassin's blade does the same damage as the legendary if you have an enchanter's whetstone. 8.5 dmg on the wheel for sneak attacks and you spent $10. It can be thrown so you buy 3 of them ($3 likely). And it as a 6 on 1/3 of the numbers. On a crit, assuming raphaels', the assassin's blade does the same damage as the legendary against non-undead and 20% lower damage against undead/outsiders - at 1/100th the cost.

Can't throw an Assassin's Blade.

Corrected using Shuriken or Dwarven thrower. You lose 1 damage on the wheel versus the legendary.
What do we want? Evidence based science! When do we want it? After peer review!

I'm a bit unsure what point you're trying to make, but:

A. You can't sneak attack with ranged thrown weapons unless you have 2013 UR Lenses of Vital Insight (or are throwing Nightshade's +2 Throwing Dagger, or are using a 1/game effect).

The assumption for the ranged rogue conversation was that the player had something to make the sneak possible. It does highlight how good Nightshade's was in retrospect.

Expect for the greave transmute there i no other UR that will make a high end wizard build. Nightmare and below are where these URs will end up being used.

I guess it's tough for URs to make the cut on high end builds in general, as URs should be outclassed by Relic & above tokens. Slotless tokens being the exception of course.

Everything looks good. Did not see any typos and the "transmuted" and "set-bonus" links look like they're on the right ones.

Rather than a new token, at this stage, doing a reprint makes way more sense to me.

Instead of Storm Seeker Gloves, I'd do something like:

Figurine of Power: Dragon - is something for bards, rogues, and wizard, would have made sense to reprint already.

Lenses of Vital Insight - something for rogues as it allows using a much wider range of missile weapons with Sneak Attack.

Carter's Tome of Insight - few in circulation and slotless.

FoP Dragon makes a lot of sense since this set will give Wizards an extra FoP slot, and Rogues 2 FoP Slots.

Relic and Legendary path transmutes are also geared at nightmare and below DR. Just token collectors will get those but other high builds that I run with have no use for either in 2026. Nightmare and below DR players need to pick up the slack on transmute to support TD.

Most of more frequently posters play nightmare and below and sway the token designs so those folks need to put their money where their mouth is.

The Vampire Ring should end up in every top end melee build. For example, a Dwarf Fighter like this would easily drop either Ring of the Eel or Ring of the Champion for Craven's Ring of the Vampire.

Edit:
As for the URs, we don't really expect a build running 5+ legendaries + arcanum and eldrich items to be wanting to add URs to a build. Even then there are URs in this set that could end up with some of the URs. For example, FoP Pilgrim could go in that dwarf build (or any high end build) instead of FoP Cat - with +30-+40 saves across the board there isn't really a need to reroll a save.

Bracers of Boosting and Hat of Critical Thinking could end up in a Top End Ranger Io's build that wanted to play with FoP Brownie, Crits, and Ammo

Belt of the Accursed feels underpowered now, I'd thought the previous version at +5 STR was a good fit considering the large penalty of -2 to Will saves. If this is staying at +4 STR, maybe make it just -1 to Will saves instead (and update the Accursed set bonus to grant +5 to will saves instead of +6)?

Storm Seeker Gloves are a functional reprint of Blessed Tempest Gloves. I guess those have been out of print since 2018, so maybe a good time to reprint, but they are still pretty easy to find so a new UR version is unlikely to be a popular token.
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

Not a lot for me in this years set, I might get the Hat of Critical Thinking if the Mark of the Tenets stays in its current form.

Also maybe add +2 INT to the hat of critical thinking. This would help the mage staff and be funny.
