If the intention is to fit a new UR for spellcasters into the set, how about a Tome which can be used once per game to turn a missed spell slide into an automatic 15 slide?

Those gloves are gloves of greater archery…. But better.

Alternatives:

+4 spell damage
+6 spell damage for skill checks
Reprint Carter’s Tome
Reprint FoP Dragon
Reprint Assassin’s Crossbow

If you're looking for UR gloves, the Gloves of Flying Fist are an option.

I'm not sure why we went away from it, it looked like a fun option for all difficulty levels.
