I can't either.

Let's just make them $200k GP, why not? Let's self impose tariffs on ourselves. Let's just make this game we play more expensive, who cares about money? I think its hilarious that the recipe comes out for mythic tokens to require $25k GP and people are like, nah, let's make it $100k. Pretend I'm a child and explain that to me. The only thing I can think of is people want to make it very, very hard to get into Mythic and its only the elite of the elite aka people with deep pockets.

Comments like these were made when the Legendary recipes first came out. No one at all says anything about Legendary recipes now. Why is that? If you don't like the cost don't make one, you can still play without a Mythic. I think a Mythic should require 100K GP. If it does, people will still make them. If it cost 500K GP people will still make them, eventually.

Keep in mind the Safehold program has a time component to it. Based on how it's structured and current recipes, one can see that it's supposed to take time to build your Safehold. It doesn't really matter what the cost is for a Mythic because there isn't a time constraint. The only thing TD has to determine when setting the recipe is how long they want it to take for players to make them, given the fact that some will make them quicker than others.

I guarantee you:

1) No matter what the cost, initially some people will be unhappy about it and
2) No matter what the cost, eventually no one will care about the cost.

I suspect Rob will, but I really don't need the opinions of people who will never make a mythic token making them more expensive.

I came here expecting to have to fight for lower prices, but this seems reasonable. I'm poor. I've been trading away all my Stalker tokens, my totems, and my runes for monster trophies every year. It's a relief that the Earcuff is only those trophies plus a few commons, uncommons, and cheap trade goods. As for the rest, I don't care.

What is the thinking behind adding one of each Incense to the Earcuff of Greater Glory? Is the concern that using 26 monster bits across 4 years is too cheap?
It creates an issue where the Incense needs to be crafted first, then the EGG. Which could create issues for people. If just monster bits is too cheap I would rather add a small amount of trade goods and gold to the recipe (but no Golden Fleece) than add another crafted component.

The Earcuff of Greater Glory recipe is now unneccessarily complicated.

Isn't four years of Monster Trophies enough?

Adding the incense is just an awkward way of adding trade goods, gold, and/or more monster bits to the recipe.

Please consider changing it back to the simple recipe.

I think this is where things got complicated. The token db has always stated it would take more than just the MBs. Although this is now multiple items instead of a base item.

Adding transmutes to the recipe for the Earcuff creates another round of shipping back and forth. While this is well established for Legendaries and Safeholds, I’d suggest we not do this with “Relic” level tokens also.

The ear cuff was perfect the first go around. Now it’s way too expensive.

I heartily second this, just why? With the increase in the number of monster bits we really do not need anything extra in the transmute.

Adding the extra step of transmuting is not desirable, especially since they incense can't be transmuted at gencon where I'm sure a lot would have been made at

Also why are the Mythic tokens sooooo expensive, I think these really need adjusted down, maybe remove the omni orbs and take the fleece down to 5. I know if it stays where it is I'm only going to make the CoW and leave it at that.
