Thanks, Lori! The last thing I wasn't clear on was whether a single Ring would let you buy a single ticket to each of the non-Patron runs, this clears that up. :)

In order to attend Ring Con, you MUST have a Ring of the Sacred Circle.

There is ONE event at Ring Con, "The Sacred Path" that is ONLY playable by people with a Mark of Enlightenment.

Similar to "Patron" and "AG" codes in td.events, we will be using two codes for Ring Con in td.events, named "Mark of Enlightenment" and "Ring of the Sacred Circle" (MoE and RotSC).

If you have a MoE code, you will enter that code into your account at td.events. Beginning on 1/10/26, you will be able to purchase ONE TICKET to events at Ring Con.

If you have a RotSC code, you will enter that code into your account at td.events. Beginning on 1/11/26, you will be able to purchase ONE TICKET to events at Ring Con.

If you craft multiple Rings, you will receive multiple RotSC codes. DO NOT enter multiple codes into the same account at td.events, as that WILL NOT help you! Here's the example:

Jane crafts 8 rings. She receives 8 different emails and each has a RotSC code. Jane loves to play TD with her 10 friends, but only 6 in their group are attending Ring Con. Jane enters ONE RotSC into her account at td.events. She then forwards 4 of the emails to her friends that are going to Ring Con. They enter their code into their accounts at td.events. Bill, one of Jane's 5 friends, does not use a computer at all. Obviously Jane cannot forward an email to Bill, so they talk and Jane agrees to create an account for Bill at td.events and enter the code for him. The entire group of 6 agrees on a day and time they'd like to play. On 1/11/26, Jane and her friends log into td.events to purchase their tickets. Jane logs into her account and buys her ticket and then switches to Bill's account and gets his ticket.

Jane CANNOT have all the tickets in her account, as the system limits to ONE ticket per account.

Why did we do this? We want everyone who has made the effort to craft a Ring of the Sacred Circle have the opportunity to participate in Ring Con. If we have no limits on tickets, one person could go in and buy out 4 complete slots, making it very difficult for everyone that crafts a RotSC the opportunity to play.

Is there a better way to do this? Probably, but given the limitations of our current ticketing system, this is the best system we can see. Is it perfect? NO.

Please understand that our main goal here is to make sure that everyone who crafts a RoTSC is able to attend Ring Con and play the adventure. We HOPE that everyone will be patient, kind to their fellow players, and understanding when things don't go perfectly.

If we get to a point where there are tickets available, we will open it up and allow people with multiple rings to play more than once.

Please remember that there is NO GHOSTING allowed at Ring Con. We will be making sure each ticket is used by an actual person and that they have not played before.

Pre-arranging groups has worked well for Patron runs through td.events, so Dave has been gracious enough to organize a Google Sheet to track Ring Con runs. I know not everyone checks the forums, so many will miss this message, but please remind people on other platforms that pre-arranging groups and following that guideline will help keep the process smooth.

Lori

I assume you will be sending multiple codes to people that craft more than one Mark of Enlightenment?

Very much appreciate the clarifications. I'm the quartermaster for my guild. It's good to know that I can make the rings, and then just share the codes with the other players. I manage most of the tokens and transmuting. The other members have TD.events accounts so they can play VTD, so it should be fairly straightforward for them to add the codes to their own accounts. Phew.

Yes, each RotSC and MoE that is crafted will be sent an email. The person who submits the transmute order on our website will get the email. They can forward that email to someone else (similar to how Patron/AG codes currently work) and that person can enter the code into their account at td.events.

Thank you Lori. In your Jane example, she would still have 2 tickets left over. Based on your explanation, she will have to wait to see if there were additional tickets available before she could use the extra ring tickets for her and/or her friends, correct? Or will she need to create an additional 2 td.events accounts in order to utilize all 8 of her Rings? I ask as I am in nearly exactly that situation, crafted 8 rings, attending Ring Con with 4 of my kids and wanting to run with them and then also with my Blue Brotherhood group. I will get the kids to make td.events accounts so I can forward. Just trying to figure out how many accounts we need to make.

I'm entering them into the sheet as they come through and expect to SEND the codes at least 30 days before tickets open up for Ring Con. I will post here when the emails are going to go out.

David,

So if I'm reading this right, you will have 8 codes for 8 Rings. You will enter one into your account at td.events and four others (your kids) will enter a code each into their account at td.events. Five of your 8 codes have been used.

You would like to play twice (as I'm sure many other also will hope to do). Right now, we aren't sure what the attendance numbers will be, so in order to make it as fair as possible, we are limiting each user in td.events to ONE ticket per event at Ring Con. Let's not get too deep in the weeds on how to "game" this system. Just consider that anyone who tries to be sneaky and have two tickets for their use at Ring Con will have to look ME in the eye and admit they've circumvented the rules. That's not going to make me happy at all.

Ideally what will happen is that we will be able to accommodate one ticket for every person attending Ring Con AND have some left over. At that point I can change the system to allow two tickets per person, at which time you will be able to go into your account and claim another ticket.

The goal here is to make it FAIR for everyone to have the ability to attend if they've gone to the effort of making a RoSC. So PLEASE - get your ticket for each event and then once that dust settles from the initial start date, we will see where we are at and be able to open it up so that anyone who has two codes can claim another ticket.

Again, I understand the system is NOT perfect and "gamers gonna game". But I do keep pretty good records, and am confident that if we will be able to identify any situations that don't stay within the guidelines we've asked everyone to follow.

RingCon tickets go on sale in 2 weeks, but I don't think I have received the codes yet for my Rings. Has anyone received their codes yet?

Codes for Ring Con (MoE codes and RoSC codes) are going out today and tomorrow. Please check that you do not have my email blocked! I am getting some bounces from some of you. Also, if you have MULTIPLE codes (transmuted multiple Rings or Marks) then please make sure you have all of your codes.

As I said, it's going to be today AND tomorrow. After that, if you don't have a code and expected one (and checked your spam folder) please email me directly and I'll see what's going on with your code(s).

I'd advise that you enter your code NOW so that you're ready to go when tickets go on sale. Remember - people with MoE will be able to get their tickets a day earlier than people with RoSC only. Everyone is limited to ONE ticket per event, until further notice!

Thank you!!
