Big issues I'm still seeing after this wave of updates:

Don't like a belt UR combination UR thing that turns into an arguably weaker version of the Bead of Asgard thst we just got this year. Maybe consider switching the multi-year ur token to the Lenses of Timestep or towards the Gloves of Elder Horror, and the combined token be in that slot as well. I feel like that would be a more interesting line of development, as there aren't a ton of options at the Gloves/Eyes slot, and could make some interesting decisions points down the road.

I don't agree that the multi-year UR transmute should me a transmute mat for the Arcanum Hagstone. That would make that particular token significantly more expensive than any other Arcanum or even Eldrich token to make, and that seems like a really bad idea, when all these end in a 3 year cycle, and will most likely cause another log jam in trade good pricing.

On the subject of the Hagstones, I do not think that the pieces that make up the Arcanum transmute stack with the fully completed token. That breaks precedent from the likes of the Skull of Cavadar and thr Rod of 7 Parts, as you can't use the building blocks of those along with the completed one.

On the subject of the Chaser and Patron tokens, instead of creating 2 separate and new slots, which will down the road facilitate adding new, lower rarity tokens to each, I second the growing support of creating a book/tome slot, making it have like 3 spaces for tokens, and expand efforts in that direction. I think that makes more sense in the long run.

Apologies for this being a bit of a long read, but felt I needed to express some things while there was still time to change things.

I do think a tome slot makes a lot of sense, especially if we are talking about future tomes, I definitely understand not changing slotless tokens into slotted ones.

I do think having a base number and making intelligence do something in the game by scaling up slots at least 1 for high intelligence would be a good thing overall. Just a thought.

The 2026 Belt of the Accursed is very very close to the proposed 2029 UR Probably a Belt. Both are +5 Str, both have -2 to a specific save, Will for Belt of the Accursed, and Reflex for 2029.

I have a question about this sentence "Another Chaser 20-pc set each year will give you a chance to make a powerful Relic."

What Relic in this set is made from that 20 piece Chaser set? The only two Relics I see beyond the multi-year tokens are the Charm of Unity (which you already gave us the recipes for) and the Greater Arcane Necklace of Baubles, which is part of the UR/Relic/Legendary transmute path.

I do think it is neat that there will be both a 40 piece and 20 piece chaser set in the treasure boxes this year. Maybe that could result in fewer URs in the treasure boxes? I think if people got fewer URs out of treasure boxes that might increase demand and prices for the URs in the token orders.

Thanks!
Mike

The Relics are a secret to be announced in January of 2027 once the first VTD treasure has been out about a week.

Maybe I missed something somewhere, it's just strange a Belt is going to transmute into a Bead?? Don't we already have enough Relic level Beads? I think a Relic level Belt would be awesome, we haven't had one since 2012.

The 2028 and 2029 will not be Waist items. I want to move them around a bit to some of the other classic one-token slots.

Thanks for all the feedback. I am making some big changes. Hang tight. Lori is making me leave my computer until 5pm tomorrow, so the next release won't be out for a few days.

Thanks for sticking with me through all of this. It is much appreciated!

The thing I don’t like about the Codexes is if I want the +2 STR/DEX/CON, I have to keep the Codex, and then I need another set of them to make the Familiar. So the 8k order no longer really gets “everything”.

I would remove the +2 STR/DEX/CON. I believe you said there will be an “any 4” recipe using Codexes. That is good so they won’t go to waste. They don’t also need the dual purpose of the +2 stats.

Secondly 60 chase tokens per year is too much. I already think 40 is too much, I wish it were 20.
Classes Played: Barbarian (75 times), Monk (64), Rogue (39), Ranger (37), Cleric (22), Fighter (16), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (11), Bard (8), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

The main reason for the stat bump on the Codexes is so the orphan codexes are not completely worthless after the spirit pets are made. Would you go buy an Orb of Dragonkind today for any reason other than collecting it, no you wouldn’t and that is why you can buy one for $40 right now on Trent’s.

I disagree here. I like the community building aspect of this quite a bit.

That said, if all 60 are as rare as the last set of 40, or any set of 40, that will be tougher. I'm actually ok with this, as if you want to play 6th level there should be some tough work.

I agree with doing something so that the Codexes are not worthless if you don't have the whole set of them. I just don't like the implementation here.

I would prefer 30 to 40 chase tokens 60 is hard to manage
