Jeff, I'm glad you changed the wording on the Homunculus to say the 6th Level effect is rare instead of the only planned path. I think it will be great to open it up to more players later on.

No. There will also be a 20-pc Chaser set with a secret Relic token, too.

I don’t like the codex expiration. One of the reasons I never went after dragon orbs and fragments of enlightenment is because I knew if I could not afford them one year they might become trash. I don’t see any problem with the rewards for buying a 8k order being a +2 stat bonus. A 3 year usable window makes me much less likely to try for this.

There isn't a reason to put any powers on the codex with the new transmute option. the goal for them to keep value is achieved just by having an alternative transmute recipe

Yeah, I thought the reason for giving them a power was so that a single one of them still had value even if there were no more sets to complete. But then there is the issue of losing that bonus when you transmute them.

WHAT IF, instead of a power on each codex, they were only for transmuting. In 2030, the familiar would be available if you transmute all 3. Then, only AFTER that transmute window closes, there is a new transmute available: for any single codex you can get a new token that offers a bonus. Not only does it not matter which codex you have extra, but it only takes a single extra codex (not a full set of 3) to max out. And, keeping it unavailable until after the familiar recipe is retired keeps the focus on transmuting for the familiar until that is no longer possible.

I am not thrilled about the 2030 cat pants but I think that's something we can still work out in future interactions because this was more of a set guide so to speak.

I'm glad the Grand Arcanum and Arcanum Relic are not going into the same year, and the premium tokens are still going toward an entry for a special event as well, even if I think 3 years seems low for something that should be on par with a Rod.

I still feel like the chaser tokens seem underwhelming, requiring 40 chase tokens for a UR level power, compared to the cool Totems of the past years, and then on top of that having to save another 40 for the transmute in 3 years, means getting 80 tokens this year in treasure on top of the 20 for the secret relic. That is a lot to hunt down, especially at the current drop rates.

I don't think I will be able to chase after the Patron Familiar this time around, but I do agree that setting a precedent of tokens expiring doesn't feel good, except for the fun ones like Curses which can be used anyway.

There has been expiring text on Tokens in the past.

Current Arcanum Tokens: Greaves, Ring, Shirt. Based on what I'm seeing from this there will be four more: Mask, Ioun Stone, Greater Necklace, Legendary necklace. That's seven Tokens, seems like a lot (Eldritch set has 5). Will these four new Arcanum Tokens be the last ones in the set?

Rob, the Relic & Legendary Necklaces are Arcane, but I don't think they are part of the Arcanum set.
