I didn’t think the necklace is an Arcanum item. It’s orange not purple. The name is confusing though.

Rob, the Relic & Legendary Necklaces are Arcane, but I don't think they are part of the Arcanum set.

Arcane Set
When all three items are equipped, the first 0–2nd-level spell the wearer casts is not marked off their character card. This ability may be used once per game--not once per spell, not once per spell level.

Arcane Belt
Arcane Bracelets
Arcane Charm

Ahh ok. Totally forgot about the Arcane set.

I don’t know if it is set in stone, but the monster trophy transmute seems pretty underwhelming to me.

Compared to earcuff of greater glory, this just doesn’t really get me going

Slot expanders are generally going to be more exciting, but it's strictly better than one of the better charms we have nowadays, which is a Volunteer UR that is in a lot of the best builds. Seems solid to me.

Power level seems ok for a 3 year transmute. Now that it is a 4 year transmute (4C), it is underwhelming.

I don’t disagree, it may be power creeped out of usefulness before being printed.

Thinking of rewarding the players who collect for years. Not the massive collectors mind you, but those who continue to come back and play each dungeon once kind of thing

As a Healing focused Cleric, I know I'm not in the same boat as everyone.

But looking across every single one of the transmutes, plus the Arcanuum ones that we've already had, the only piece that has any form of + Focus on it is the Arcanuum Shirt. Which, coincidentally, is less +Focus than just using the Shirt of Focus that was a component of the combine.

Not going to complain or anything. But it's definitely not very motivating to spend 7-8 years transmuting the most expensive stuff in the game and never actually use any of them.

It would be nice for the spellcasters to occasionally get +Focus instead of +Ranged, so that it applies to the healers as well.

How about these changes?
Ioun Stone Inkling Ire could be +2 Ranged instead of +2 Missile,
Ioun Stone Drakon Disdain could be +2 Focus instead of +2 Spell Damage,
Arcanum Ioun Stone could be +3 to Missile, Melee, and Focus instead of +3 to Ranged and Melee.
