Honestly I think every light blue except potions should be able for 1 treasure draw.

I like the idea of a treasure chip exchange for the light blues, but 1 draw isn't enough. One treasure draw is highly likely to end up an uncommon or rare which leaves you worse off. I think a 3 star should be 3 treasure chips and a 4 star 10 treasure chips.

Also, I'd support the idea of allowing these to be transmuted for a certain number of Trade 1 or Trade 2 tokens.

Allowing them to substitute for URs in any recipes calling for any UR (2018 or later) would work as well.

In short, anything that would help making the excess light blues useful would be welcomed.

Too many of the light blues are too cheap for this. There are a bunch of light blues 3 stars less than a $1 and a bunch of 4 stars under $4 on Trent’s sight right now. If it was announced that you could trade these in for treasure draws it would be a run on the cheep tokes with a small handful of winners and a bunch of people pissed off because the chronically online were able to take advantage of the knowledge of this ahead of time.

Good points. I guess the exchange rate if going the treasure chip route would need to be set near the bottom (1 chip for 3 star, 3 chips for 4-star) to avoid arbitrage. As for scooping up the light blues, perhaps the ever vigilant Trent could "suspend" trading if such a move were in the works.

I think that the approach of allowing the light blues to be used in some ratio for the Omni Orbs and Omni Cubes would be the best route. Yes the light blues have different values, but so do URs. I guess again the exchange rate would need to be set valuing the light blues low enough (say 50 3 stars = 1 UR, 20 4 stars = 1 UR) to make the values roughly equivalent. For those 3 and 4 stars with more value, the owners wouldn't need to exchange them and could keep them/sell them.

I would like to see Light Blues transmuted for Elven Bismuth and Oil of Enchantment to help with the demand for these trade goods. It would help with Safehold (including Sidekick/Follower) and Mythic Transmutes too.

Light Blue Healing Potions would not be eligible since they are useful to all in the dungeon or as give aways to new adventurers. (Were also very cheap to make--PoCH was 11 common potions).

A recipe of this sort should have a transmute timeframe also such as only during 2026 or at else be revisited each year.

Something like this:

5--3* plus 3--4* for an Elven Bismuth

5--3* plus 6--4* for an Oil of Enchantment

Just my opinion.

I like the idea of a one year recipe to get rid of a surplus of one type of token to address the shortage of another.

The main downside I see is that people that are already paying super high prices for Bismuth and Oils might be upset if after they pay a bunch for theirs a less expensive option is made available. Maybe this type of decision needs to be announced well ahead of time. Like, maybe make it effective for 2027 instead of 2026.

A new pirates treasure map that has a recipe which includes light blues (as one option) would be most welcome.

Definitely don’t make decisions based on if people would be upset if they previously overpaid. We all miss opportunities or overpay from time to time. I’d have loved to have bought Nvidia at $6 or realized there was an early sign up list for banana ball so I didn’t have to pay 5x higher prices for secondary market tickets. (FYI the banana ball ticket lottery is next month so put in for your tickets now!)
