Ugh... I mean, congrats to the Pats. It was a good game. Well until the last play call by Seattle. :pinch:

Wow - the feelings in the room I was in switched from despair to elation in a heartbeat - we were all yelling. What a game!

Not sure it was such a terrible call. I heard Lynch's success rate from the 1 this season was 1 in 5, so I imagine Carroll thought they would try a pass, then try Lynch on 3rd down if needed, and again on 4th (or more likely go for the tying field goal).

They needed 4, so a FG was a no go. I was having fits after that crazy, bobbling, on his back catch. Lack of sleep might just have been worth it :)

Does he get a congratulation too as if he contributed to the team? Well, I guess we could tap him retroactively as honorary ball handler :P.

It is well known that superstitious rituals and yelling at your television has...

well actually no impact whatsoever on the outcome of the game.

But we do it anyway.:P
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

I am sure it was the psychic energy I was directing at the TV that enabled Butler to make that interception.
