Since I hadn't seen it mentioned here, Hero Forge is running a new kickstarter for color printed minis. There're only 3 days left on the campaign and, there are some very cool stretch goals announced. I have no idea why I thought it might be of interest to this demographic. :whistle:

Is this the same bunch that was at Gen Con near the TD area a few years ago.


If so, they don't have a great track record.

I don't know if that was them or a different company. Hero Forge has been around for awhile to my knowledge. Unless it was about the backlog which they seemed to have around 2 years ago. They did deliver eventually. There is another company (I forget the name) that people are still awaiting on minis I think.

No, that was "Miniature You"/"Minuteman Miniatures".

They took my money and folded/never delivered.

I'm more excited for the color tools than the actual color printing. I have an army of digital minis I've designed over the years waiting to be colored. The $3.5 M stretch goal of "Weapon Forge" would be a real game-changer.

A few of my friends have purchased Hero Forge minis outside of Kickstarter and were very satisfied. They seem to have a good reputation. Hopefully the full-color Kickstarter goes well, because it seems pretty ambitious!

Tried a mini once and it was nicely printed but did not holdup to careful handling. Hopefully the materials used are better now.

I have ordered twice, each time the steal mini’s and am happy with them.
