TOPIC: Mixing vaccines

Mixing vaccines 3 years 2 weeks ago #1

So I had my first vaccine last week and they couldn't tell me which vaccine I would get until I got there, but they immediately signed me up for my second shot on April 15th... How do they know they will have the same vaccine that day? If I mix the vaccines do I have to roll on the first edition miscibility table???

Best guess, they are scheduling appointments on the probable assumption that they will have same-type second doses when the time comes, but will contact you to reschedule if that turns out not to be the case. (This happened in my city, a bunch of people's appointments were delayed a few days, it was fine)

Yes, my AC is lower than the Wizard's. No regrets!

Did you get a card? If so it probably says what type on the card.

Yeah, here in Chicago there have been some issues, mostly with Walgreens, where people are being told that the store where they were scheduled to get their second dose wasn't going to have the same type of vaccine as their first dose. It results in a lot of last-minute scrambling. But people are finding the appropriate second dose somewhere (either at other Walgreens or through county vaccination hotlines).

Recommend not eating a wafer-thin mint after getting that 2nd shot then.

But isn't there a small chance of permanent super-powers?

But the chance of summoning a friendly permanent monster companion is five times more likely, and I dare say I like those odds...
