Avengers 268 has references to Kang and Iron Man and Amazing Spider-Man 268 has the Kingpin. It could just be a totally random number, but I know they've had issue number easter eggs in other series.

there is not a random number it means something

Found another possibility. Uncanny X-men 268 is a great issue with a flashback to Captain America, Wolverine, and Black Widow in a team up story. I know that Clint mentioned the watch was tied to somebody's identity, so I've been assuming it was Clint or Natasha, but I guess we have to wait and see if more clues pop up.

maybe it links to Laura. That is why she knew about it and spoke german. maybe she is a spy/super hero. They hid her from the world (witness protection) that is why she did not go to NYC with the family. Maybe she has a link(was head or track suit mafia..or wanted by them)

I'm guessing it's Laura also. She's clearly much more than it appeared - I'm guessing an ex-SHIELD agent. That makes more narrative sense than belonging to someone that isn't in the mini-series. Or maybe she's an ex-Black Widow?

There is a theory that she could be Mockingbird.

I did not think of that. That fits everything...

That would make a lot of sense - if Hawkeye were to end up with anyone she'd be the logical one. That would almost definitely mean Agents of Shield isn't Canon though (which it probably already wasn't).

The Mockingbird theory is the most likely, but I am curious as to whether the number itself has meaning. The first appearance of Mockingbird is 1971, so it doesn't fit. I am sure if it has meaning it is just something odd.

In numerology I believe it’s twin flame. So that could be hint that it is his wife

I saw that speculation, and that would be cool, but it sounded like he's protecting someone that's still alive and has been out of the game for awhile.

I wonder whether Yelena is going to have a bit part in the last couple of episodes, or if this is just setting her up for another show/movie. It seems like there are a lot of moving parts and loose ends to wrap up in just two more episodes.

if he is protecting someone it has to be his wife or Nick

Chad, I agree, I'm pretty sure it's his wife.

Vincent D’Onofrio is back as Kingpin!!!!!!!!! I'm not going to be able to react further until I finish processing this.

There were so many rumors and hints this was coming that I'm not surprised, but am satisfied to see it officially confirmed in the episode.

It does seem like they really have a lot of stuff to tie up in the final episode. Although, probably some stuff will be left hanging to be tied up in future series.

I loved the new Black Widow, she was hilarious. I was expecting Kingpin, but it was still great to see. I think a lot of the Echo Kingpin stuff will be in her show. I wonder if we'll see Jack be the Swordsman.
