Congratulations and well done TD Community! This year you showed your love for one-another by contributing to a very worthy cause. Through various auctions, over which we had nearly 50 unique bidders participate, as well as a 10 selfless contributors, we collectively accumulated $2500 to give to the ACS. Then, a matching donor gave another 100% of that amount to total $5000 given to the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge program.
What is a Hope Lodge community?
Our 30+ Hope Lodge communities across the country provide a free place to stay during treatment so people with cancer can focus on getting better. These communities provide comfortable guest suites with private baths, as well as inviting spaces with all the comforts of home, including a communal kitchen, dining area, laundry rooms, and places to gather or find a quiet respite – all at no cost to guests.
Hope Lodge guests don’t just find a place to stay – they find a community of support and an emotional connection with others facing the same journey.
I think this is a most wonderful way to honor the memory of those we've lost, those who struggle, and those who have had victory in the war against cancer. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
