TOPIC: For the brave ones!

Re: For the brave ones! 15 years 5 months ago #181

OK anyone want to comment about the Chargers Steelers game...??

With the blown "last play" call of that game and Vegas Sports Book places all up in arms...I think we are at a turning point in the NFL...every play will need to be better officiated and instant replay will have to be engaged in a better manner than it is today!

I sure hope whatever is going to happen happens soon!

***can anyone see putting a chip in the football and setting up sensors that detect when it hits the ground...maybe the ball turns green or explodes or something!***

I think If it exploded, more people would watch it too.
Its funny how something that takes multiple days to set up comes down in a few hours...

Of course! Don't bet on the games then it wont be that big of a deal when the officials get it wrong. That's my two gold pieces.

I'll be curious to see if someone sues the NFL over this. I imagine some people could have lost big money when they should have won. I think the Steelers have a complaint as well if points scored comes into play in a tiebreaker scenario.

Kim

Nobody will. It would be like David taking on Goliath.

I think points scored is pretty far down on the tiebreaker list.
I think it's fourth on the list. It still could happen though. As far as the David and Goliath thing goes, I'm pretty sure that there are at least a couple of lawyers out there who would love to take on the NFL.

Kim
