First, let me say that I was pleasantly surprised with meeting many from this board at GenCon Indy. There was a sense kindness and comraderie that was unexpected and it definitely made the whole experience that much more enjoyable.

Second, as some of you already know, I thought at one point that my backpack had been stolen (with about $7000 worth of stuff in it). I retraced my steps, talked to many people who might have seen it, and looked everywhere until 3AM on Saturday morning with no luck.

Later that morning, I was told that someone had found a bag and put it in the "Denver"(?) room and it was indeed my bag.

So first, a sincere thank you to the person who found my bag and turned it in! And thank you to everyone else who helped me to look for the bag in the early morning hours on Saturday. All of your efforts and kindness were truly appreciated.

Thank you again!!

Wow, i'm glad you got that backpack back with everything included i'm assuming. People are really cool though, I met Koralk for the first time during one of his Saga's and he's a good guy as well.

Great!!!
I am so glad to hear that you did get your bag back!

Yes, our admin area was the Denver Room this year. And I am so glad to hear you managed to get your bag back. I hadn't heard that wonderful news! Hope it was in time for your tournament!

$7000!!?? You must be a Magic player! Sometimes I hit myself for not buying those cards when they first came out back in '95. I chose Spellfire instead....oops.

Yeah He let me see his deck one night when he was checking it, I about died when he told me his bag was gone, we search every where in the tavern for it too.
Its funny how something that takes multiple days to set up comes down in a few hours...

You are very welcome. I am only here to help. I am so very glad to hear it all turned out okay. I know it must have been very distressing and was glad to do what I could to help. I hope that set back did not take away from your experience at the Con or with TD.
Again I'm so glad to hear that it turned up and glad to have been of any assistance. Good to see you again. Hope you had fun going through TD. :)

I was so glad to hear the good news Sunday...my gut finally stopped hurting...

This has to be the best "good triumphs" story out of the Con!

Glad it was you who had the great outcome!

Yeah, see I told DD that that was going to be a mean trick to pull on you Douglas. Buuuut she was wearing her "dark fairy" outfit... so she picked up the bag and flitted off with it. Bad Fairy.
