HANDS FREE token toting.

I am selling Token Wallets of various styles for those that like to carry their tokens in a convenient, compact manner. These handcrafted wallets consist of a quality leather exterior with a pre-manufactured ‘coin wallet’ interior. These by-fold coin wallets contain 24, 2”x2” sized pockets. This allows tokens to slide in and out easily. However, that does not mean the tokens will accidentally fall out. They cannot escape due to the construction of the pockets. Each pocket has its opening toward the fold, and once folded, the pocket is closed and the tokens stay in place.
I carried these wallets through runs in ‘09, ’10, and '12 with no difficulties. I have made scores of these and had zero complaints about their function or durability. Browse through this thread for comments of numerous customers and ask questions of your own. I will be glad to answer your questions by PM or on the thread, or if you want others to answer your questions, feel free to PM any who have posted here.

A good option is the addition of straps. Two strap options are available; either a single strap to allow the wallet to dangle from a belt or wrist or two straps to hold the wallet horizontally on a belt.

My products are guaranteed to satisfy or I will. Money back or whatever it takes.
If anyone has a feature or design ideas they want to incorporate into a personal or group Token Wallet give me a PM and we'll work it out. Custom orders are welcome.

Note on names. wrightlaf was my old email address and the change-over to this new TD website listed that instead of my avatar name of molda for all old posts. All new entries will reflect the name molda, which is the only way to PM me; wrightlaf won't work.

I got one of these off of ebay and it looks like the tokens will stay in place. I haven't given them a "good" shake ...yet. <br /><br />Can a zipper be placed around the outside? I like a little extra protection, just in case.<br /><br />Larry

I Will look into both approaches but it will add considerably to time/cost. So far I have been using leather I had laying around, but I saw some really nice snakeskin embossed leather I want to buy. When I sell one or two more of what I have, I can order some of it and get some other needed leatherworking supplies.<br />I have also been toying with lacing some of the edges in traditional leatherworking styles. <br />Anyone with good ideas?

<br /><br />Go ahead Larry. Give it a good shake and let us know what happens.<br /><br />The weak point in these Token Wallets are the plastic pockets that come pre-made. They are fairly inexpensive and are easily replaceable.<br />I'm working on another idea for higher quality insertable pockets. If it tests out, I'll switch over to those exclusively.<br /><br />Lou

they are great, I remember seeing them when you were on an adventure with me last year.  I will probably buy a few when I get done traveling for work.

Molda: I just gave the token holder a volient shake and actually threw it on the ground. One token fell out after the plastic was torn. Under normal conditions and useage this will work without any problems. I may try use 2 extra leather shoe strings on the ends to hold it a little more. I do like how it will fit into your pocket. <br /><br />Looks like I may even order another one.<br /><br />Great job.<br /><br />Larry

<br /> =) That's great Larry. I'm glad it stood up to your tests and thanks for the endorsement. I'm not clear on the extra string you're talking about, but I am interested. How about us PMing so I can improve the product.<br /><br />I got with Jeff and he said that it would be fine to use references to True Dungeon and dungeon occurences. "Anyone smell Smoak?" I intend to stamp messages into some leather for wallets. I can stamp and dye tooling leather in many designs and styles. But I seem to have a lack of inspiration on the subject of what message to use. Any ideas?<br /><br />What would look good on a token wallet?<br />Anyone?<br />
