<br />If we're looking for one effect across both, how about one level of multiclassing? <br /><br />You get your pick of multiclassing into: <br /><br />

  • Cleric (1st level Divine spells, +1 Will)<br />
  • Wizard (1st level Arcane spells, +1 Will)
  • <br />
  • Fighter (+1 to hit, +1 or 2 hp, +1 Fort)<br />
  • Rogue (Sneak attack, may attempt traps, +1 Ref)
<br /><br />These would be available in small card form to clip to your main class player card.<br /><br />

<br /><br />I really like this except the Fighter advantages don't seem as cool... how about a single power attack in place of the +1 to hit?<br />
Legally... its questionable. Morally... its disgusting. Personally... I *like* it.

Works for me! Fighter was a tough one to come up with, good call on the Power Attack. Keep the extra 1 or 2hp?

<br /><br />The way I imagine it, yeah. This is where TD not having the exact rules as D&D would be an advantage, and I don't think the multiclassing abilities are so powerful that a plate armor fighter casting a few Magic Missiles will break the dungeon (but it would be funny!).

<br /><br />Would there be limitations on the multiclassing?  One I see right off the bat is paladin multiclassing with rogue.  I'm not sure about the latest edition, but I remember in prior editions there were some issues with someone multiclassing paladins with alignment/ethical conflicting classes.

Would there be limitations on the multiclassing?  One I see right off the bat is paladin multiclassing with rogue.  I'm not sure about the latest edition, but I remember in prior editions there were some issues with someone multiclassing paladins with alignment/ethical conflicting classes.<br />

<br /><br />For simplicity's sake, no. Just imagine a Paladin of Olidammara! It's an Amulet of WONDER! :D

Oh, they exist, but they cannot work with ANYONE lawful, since that's completely opposed to the dictates.<br /><br />While I think it's a great idea, I think that having multiclass without restrictions is a bit of a slippery slope.

<br /><br />Eh, it's a one-shot thing for a cool effect. I don't think multiclassing's going to become available to everyone anytime soon.<br /><br />Also...WONDER!  :O

"Cool effect" doesn't necessarily mean "good" does it? Mwuah ha ha ha...(evilly rubs his hands together). How about everyone turns into a fish and can only use kelp to use as a whip attack!<br /><br />Better not flounder! Of course this suggestion could be a red herring. I better stop. I don't want to carp on the subject to long...

<br /><br />I agree the power attack bites.  There may be a problem with the rogue though, multiple people doing a backstab?  Does the multiclass rogue get to do the rogue's box?  If so, that could be a nightmare, the rest of the group might never see the DM.<br /><br />I'd think about dropping the rogue.<br /><br />Also, assuming this is some die roll, keeping the Double HoP is never a bad thing (so says a tokenholic hahahahaha!!!!!)<br /><br />

Well we have done fixed changes (+1 Level), we have done fixed rewards (cool tokens usable on that run), we have done random abilities (for the last 2 years), I am hoping for something either new or not the dice.  I found the dice problematic because it slowed down the GM table during this year because you did different things in that two round prep based on what you rolled.  If you rolled Immune to fire, you did not need to consume potions of fire resistance and so forth.  If it was some fixed bonus it would make character planning a lot easier, for the players, the DMs, and Amorgen Burke who could code in on his most amazing spreadsheet what it does.  <br /><br />Perhaps for this year it could be simply: Allows water breathing (uncommon), Free Action (Rare), and +1 Token at the end of the adventure.
