I can confirm the Hat of Critical Thinking does not grant the can crit/sneak things with immunities. From a rogue who also couldn't land a sneak on the ghost girls. If you look at the list of in game abilities on the character it doesn't show up but does for the bead of guided strike.

"Ranged" damage bonus from tokendb.com/token/ioun-stone-of-envy/ should increase spell damage, but currently does not.
