With all these changes can we get a v9 look? The recipes were all out of whack if I compared them to the 2020 QTR. I saw some recipes called out, but I noticed differential in many of the 2020 relic and legendary class recipes. If we can get a v9, I think we can fine tune it quickly before the “preorder event” begins

I believe Druegar asked for specifics on the recipes from 2020. I didn't see any, other than the one that was pointed out above.

It sounds like you said you see a few others?

Skull of Cavadar should have a Fleece requirement!! This bad boy is a Grand Eldritch Token!! The Kilt had a Fleece requirement and it's only a standard Eldritch Token.

I think your first point was accepted as a yes.

I'm with you on the skull. Counter point is the Rod recipe, and apparently the current dearth of MB/Fleece.

Skull of Cavadar is the new Rod of Seven Parts. It makes no sense for the weaker token to have a higher crafting cost.

Then you should also be arguing against the 1k gold requirement.

I did also advocate for the removal of the 1K GP requirement, but can accept a partial success.

Personally Im against going hard on monster bits this year. We dont know if there's a dirth yet, we know there is no 4c announment this year but we dont know (and I wouldnt be surprised if) there is a multi VTD transmute at some point during all of this, We also still haven't solved the clue for this season and if it ends in a transmute like orions it could suck out a lot of stuff, plus given the weird events schedule this year we dont know how many monster bits will end up circulating through the regular channels. End of the day whatever happens happens but I would be careful tweaking recipes this year to try and manage the economy since there are so many unknowns. IMO it's better to follow the rod of seven parts pattern as closely as possible since that's what people have been more or less expecting for the last years.

Also can someone update the beta link in the first post to the most current version

I get the Rod didn't have it but that was years ago. The Fleece you get from playing and doing pulls. Which is why I like them as ingredients. You have to play the game to get them, they can't be bought. So every Fleece as an ingredient pushes people to play more. It's good for the game. And the Legendaries require Fleece, a Grand Eldritch item seven year transmute should include at least one.

On the other hand, the Grand Eldritch item requires you to either save UR Level special tokens for 7 straight years or buy them at high prices on the secondary market. To me, that is more than enough with the Trade Item tokens for the recipe. Plus, a lot of people were saving those towards the Cavadar Transmute expecting a similar recipe to Rod of Seven Parts.

Personally I would like the 1K GP to also be dropped to make it consistent with Rod of Seven Parts recipe. The 1K GP requirement is a pretty small addition, it seems like a small tweak to get rid of it to have consistent recipes.

To say they cannot be bought ignores that that there is a secondary market for this game. Something that Jeff explicitly people use when a couple years ago GF got added to relics he advocated people use if they did not have enough monster bits.

As far as pushing people to play more, I would rather more people play than people play more, but that is me.

Legendaries require two so Grand Eldritch requiring two would not be out of line.

By that logic Grand Eldritch should require more trade goods than they currently do as well. I don't think equating the two is a fair assessment. Legendaries also require a number of UR's. GE's require a number of Premium tokens.

Long long ago, before the current naming convention transmutes used to have cauldrons on them. 4c, 4 cauldrons
