I don't think it will be commons. Jeff announced it on Trent's You Tube interview. You should definitely watch it and it was implied that it would be something we'd like to see. It was more along the lines of that when you see plats in a 20 token wrap, you can no longer assume they are just rares and uncommons, that they might be something really cool.

I will gladly trade you any rare plat for any common plats you get in treasure pulls

I really should read …something special. Yea I like that

I feel the need to counter some misinformation being spread* in this thread.

Other than the 2019 Charm of Avarice, all tokens should** have steel cores. Whether or not a token has a steel core is very easily testable by at least two methods:
  • Apply a low-powered magnet to any token. If the token and the magnet are drawn to each other, that token has a steel core.
  • Compare the weight. A core-less token is way, WAY lighter than one with a steel core. I realize not everyone has a scale, but comparing the relative weight of a core-less token to one with a core is a simple process. You can easily discern the difference between a steel-cored token and one that's 100% resin by holding one in each hand--the difference is not subtle. If you have a significant sensory handicap, ask a friend or loved one.

There are no plans to put Commons in the treasure mix, Quoting from the PHB:
True Dungeon does not put Common tokens in the treasure generators. However, sometimes players mistakenly drop Common tokens in there. Should you pull a Common token from the treasure generator, inform the volunteer running the station and you may pull again.

I think at one point the possibility of putting proxies in the treasure mix was discussed, but nothing came of that discussion. True Dungeon has never put proxies in the treasure mix and we have no plans to change that policy.

*That's not to say I think it's been done maliciously.
**Any non-CoA without a steel core is an unintentional anomaly.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

Thanks Druegar!

I (mistakenly) thought some of the dragon orbs did not have steel cores, as it could interfere with the RFID tag.

Glad to hear I was wrong.

Does that mean my charm of treasure boosting is a misprint? I thought it came without a core because of the unique nature and now I wonder if I should trade it with someone who cares about misprints.

Thanks Druegar for the clarifications!

If it does not have a metal core. Then yes you could say it’s a misprint

Good to know Skull of Cavadars have metal cores. Plan to take out of case since airport security will eventually want to inspect it.

I like the effect however I think 50/25 count bags are a little low. 75/50 count bags seem more reasonable for a UR. I would turn one in for sure if it were 75/50. At 50/25 I'll be holding on to mine. And this come from someone who is usually more on the conservative side when it comes to pulls/power creep topics.

I'm like you, I'd be reluctant to cash in a UR Special, but I can see some being turned in for this.

If Amulet / Rings of Wonder gave just a few bonus treasure pulls (maybe equal to an AoTF, or let's be honest, even equal to a Nugget), my whole group would be outfitting them. :)

Assuming that you're getting back to the original thread topic, then yes, Trent's latest included comments from Jeff with regards to V7. i'll share as a spoiler in case you want to be completely oblivious in regards to V7.

Yes, Jeff made an announcement that would be relevant to the UR special.
