In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

I like the idea of the white-backed tokens. While the core idea is to fill the slots that relics and legendaries don't, they still are awesome in and of themselves. I'm all for these tokens being rare reprints and don't see a need to drop them to uncommon level. If someone only has 2-3 relics but still qualifies for this ultra cool retro run then they should be able to outfit themselves so they aren't a hindrance on the rest of the party.

I'm interested in seeing what rooms Jeff decides will be in this demi-plane. Maybe Smoak was banished to this demi-plane after the end of Draco-lich undone and has been busy undoing time itself and thus giving us a reason for the old rooms. What if one of the rooms is from a future TD but has a puzzle or combat from the past? What if we have to fight two boss monsters from the past one after another? The possibilities are for the story are endless. Even if there is no overarching story and there are just four rooms from past dungeons it would be fun to relive the coolest bit from older adventures.

Looking back at old school stuff, things were non-magical up until the last few years. It was pretty much only weapon and armor slots back then, but here is what was introduced each year from 2005-2009.

I got to see some of the past dungeons at True Realm. They were a lot of fun. Would love to see more of them.

It would be very cool if full dungeons from the past could make an appearance. Totally unfeasible but cool.

If you look at the Token yearbook you'll see that there were a lot more weapon and armor tokens than that introduced. 2005 had Plate Armor and a host of +1 Magical Weapons, 2006 added more including Elven Chain. Even 2003/4 kind of had magical weapons, you could draw a +1 weapon that allowed you to do an extra point of damage with the pre-made weapon sliders.

No, I believe the scythe is "exalted". Needs a 4 point star to be relic. Medallion of greyhawk and dragontooth should be too (but they aren't because of their age)

Relics (a.k.a. UR+) have a five point star.

The Draco-lich Claw Charm is also a relic, but instead of a UR+, it is the last (until the Ring of Heroism) of the 4C tokens. I am not sure what that means for the other 4Cs.

I'm curious, why are you referring to the Ring of Heroism as a 4C token? Those are traditionally the ones that take all the monster ingredients from one year plus one or two from the next. The Ring of Heroism relies more on participation tokens than monster tokens (other than a Golden Fleece). I won't be surprised to see a 4C token in next year's set, they are usually every other year.

When the high level players aren't running, the special four room mini-adventure can be open to any player for 22 generic tickets? How many curious people get turned away from True Dungeon, because of limited sceduling. On the same note, why isn't True Dungeon open throughout the night-morning on Friday and Saturday? Nine hours at four dungeons at five groups of ten at $44 adds up? Why close?
True Dungeon IS teamwork. Tokens offer a better chance of survival for the team. :-)

I think it comes down to staffing.

I meant to put a question mark on there; but it is still transmuting a bunch of participation type tokens into a Relic level. Maybe not exactly the same thing, but close enough that we might want to include it to avoid creating another label for transmuted tokens.
