Yep, it is a huge change. The giant potential spread in healing ability is causing difficulty balancing the dungeons though. Hopefully, damage in dungeons will be balanced downwards accordingly.

Or at least I really hope dungeons get balanced accordingly. Because I enjoy being able to spend actions doing things other than healing. And that is what I see as the most likely downside to the cut in healing, the fact that Clerics (and maybe to a lesser extent Druids) will be stuck spending more of their time healing and less doing anything else.

I hope the new version of the LoDS get switched back to not using your Free Action.

+2 to spells, but not scrolls.

In the long run, perhaps the loss of more than half the healing may end the issue of the MeC damage. If there little to no healing left, cutting doesn't make sense.

What concerns me the most is that I usually spend the majority of my healing undoing push damage. I may have to give doing PUG groups and get back on a team.

I finally realize I've jumped a tier finally. For years i considered myself a budget (rare builds) hard core player. I spent some money and make the jump mostly to UR land and realize it was the wrong year/cycle to do so.

Overall there's lot of good stuff for the new to UR players and those looking for UR+ and up and plan on the transmute ladder.

Right now it's very hard to be excited this year and more evaluating of tokens to sell more than buy right now.

Bead, really was hoping for better. Only hope i have is that we can run multiples as recently rumored. Until then i'll make 1 and sit on the other bits till next year before deciding to sell/scrap. Is Icecrag that overpowered why the bead just doesn't feel like a 4 year item or is it fact we had the +2 IS not that long ago that makes this feel as bad it is?

Kilt, see the hundred plus posts elsewhere and that's a no win situation. Only good news is it forced players to decided if the potential eldritch bonus (which isn't universal draw for folks) and no negatives are better than raw stat increase, especially clerics and dex, see hammer issues.

Cloak of Shadowskin, knocked down to once a game effect is irritating but understandable, the +1 saves feels/are awful.

Glad bards are getting some love and i do feel better about the tome knowing it's a fixed slot coming, a +1 for stuff like Libram and carters going into that slot.

I know we all work on Jeff's time but maybe just so much that we've been looking forward (combo plus kilt) along with the nerf bat seems to be whiplash and a lot to take in such a short period and stuff getting buried.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

There are a lot of unhappy people about the change, but it became pretty clear through the process that the healing reduction was locked in. Clerics & Druids took a pretty big hit in this cycle.

I doubt that very much, I suspect the healers will still be able to handle 10 points of healing a turn. With the nerfing though, healing might be all the Clerics & Druids do, which will limit the classes in my opinion.

I think Jeff saying the MEC was balanced ended the issue of the MEC damage. I expect it to be the #1 token on the reprint request list next year.

At least Druids got some cool new toys to ease the sting.

The only non-TE UR that is tempting me right now is the Shaman belt, and I need to crunch the numbers to figure out if the polymorph is worth the loss of both the waist and shirt slots, and loss of the first level spell. Gregor's was a must-buy before it became slotted. I'll probably still get it for our Wizards, I'm not sure if I will for the Cleric and Druid since they may be limited to one Tome, and perhaps a better one will come around in a year or two.

I'm sure I'll make a bunch of Bead transmutes since I have the monster ingredients, but +3 seemed a lot more appropriate than +2 saves. I hope Jeff prints a lot of these, because I think a LOT will be transmuted. I'm sure I'll transmute a bunch of kilts since I have invested in a bunch of the earlier ones, but if I'd realized it would be this weak I'd probably have bought a lot less. I'll be more cautious next time around.

Good point - it doesn't say FA on the token, this would be a nice reset.

With power creep being what it is, the classes who get their stuff later might fare better... good things come to those who wait....

The Wizards made out pretty well, they get the Druid Class Specific UR, and they still have their Wizard one coming.
